I just happened to see something come through my newsfeed over Fb, I bookmarked it, found my schedule open, so headed east to check it out. Emma likes to play in her room... and who doesn't like to play with little spirits?! I didn't know the history of the Magnolia Hotel so was totally clueless walking in the door... Magnolia Hotel has been on Ghost Adventures on Travel Channel. Also, Magnolia Hotel is ~not~ a hotel, it is now a personal residence. To my delight, I was able to hear stories of the old hotel, tales of it's past residents many of which have never left, and how Magnolia Hotel was discovered by the owners. Jim & Erin saved the Magnolia from being demolished... they single handedly have saved a part of Seguin history!... and some haunted history at that! I spent about two hours just hanging out, looking around, and people watching... talked to some interesting people, listening to questions and answers... all very interesting. Did I have an experience? I had something creepy go up the back of my left neck and skull as I was talking to a ghost hunter in the original dining area where the owner was sitting. I also felt some weird things around the house... but something I brushed off at first until I started listening to others talk about it... when you first come up the stairs, it feels really heavy. I originally brushed it off as I just walked up the stairs... but no, go back and you feel it... and everyone was feeling it!!! Emma was playing in her room. One of the guides said just a few minutes earlier, a little girl got scratched. Then someone told her that they saw the door knob in the pink bathroom turn back and forth. The owner, Erin, said this house is more active during the day than at night. Wow! The owners Jim & Erin host a ghost tour in their home on occasion, which books up months in advance. The tour last about 2 hours with in-depth stories which might also include a spiritual reading from the Erin at the end (but only if deceased wish to come forward). Erin has written Haunted New Braunfels, Haunted Seguin, and soon to be released Haunted Magnolia House. All proceeds go towards restoring the Magnolia Hotel. I can not wait to go on their ghost tour!

And I told him, isn't this uncomfortable? He agreed with me. Just left the fan and left.I told him I was gonna want a refund. Went back to the hotel to cancel the 2nd day and ask about my refund. They did not give me a refund for the first night. It was very uncomfortable. I woke up several times throughout the morning. Never again. Will I stay had a days in and anyone booking at this day's Inn into Texas? I wouldn't my wife referred to the hotel as the hotel that was in the movie Scarface, run down.

As the pictures will show, I'm surprised they didn't have bed bugs. At the pool we witnessed a gentleman so drunk that he couldn't get out the pool. Another guest said he had been in the pool all day drinking which leads us to believe he was peeing in the pool. He kept trying to get out of the pool and could not because he was so drunk. When he finally got out he stumbled and fell cutting himself and then proceeded to get back in the pool with a bloody leg. Children were playing In the pool. He also proceeded to argue with his wife and use loud vulgar language around the children. When we complained the front desk agent simply shrugged their shoulders and said there was nothing they could do about it. In the room, there was chipped furniture, dirt and grime and hair. The rooms definitely were not clean. On my sheets I found dried blood. When I complained the front desk agent tried to reassure me that it was rust, not blood. Regardless it was disgusting and my brother in law is a nurse and reassured me that it was dried blood. The shower had mold. I felt very unsafe while staying at this hotel and am extremely disappointed at how the staff didn't seem to care about the safety of their guests. This hotel is violating so many heath code laws and should refund their guests money. I've never stayed in place as disgusting as this. I would recommend Wyndham remove their name from the property and the health inspector should go investigate. I would not recommend anyone stay here.

It was around 9:30 pm when we checked in. The air was not on in our room and it was more than 90 degrees outside. We turned on the air. It seemed to be working so we hit the sack. We both woke up in the middle of the night in the heat. The air wasn't working! Since it was a few hours before we would be leaving, we decided to live with it. Looking back, we should have complained and got a different room. Our sleeping was very poor. The next morning, my wife found spiders all over the room! We also saw that the wires from an electrical outlet were hanging out and there was problems with the shower. We complained at the front desk upon checkout. The clerk didn't seem to give a damn! Once we were preparing for bed, we noticed that one of the beds had mouse feces all over the upper portion of the bed. It was under the pillows and sheets. It was pretty late, so we just shared the other bed. In the morning, I notified the front desk. The woman didn't seem to care. She said they just had pest control out last week to spray for mice? She completely disregarded everything even with photos. She didn't offer up anything and was quick to end the conversation. I was extremely disappointed, I paid a $100 for a hotel room infested with mice and had to share a bed unexpectedly. Even worse, in the morning there was even more mouse feces in that bed than there was before we went to sleep. I have e-mailed their corporate office and am unimpressed with the generic response I received.
