They do have a bag surcharge so bring your tote bag. I loved the staff picks display right at the front door - lots of good options! The selection seemed to range from best sellers to local authors, kids' books, and more. The building is historic and unique, and I'm really glad I got to check it out.

There are so many books to browse in the two story bookstore - there's definitely something for everyone. There's also a separate vintage bazaar that has vintage clothing, shoes and housewares. There's also a nice selection of Kilts as the owner hails from Scotland. Definitely stop through if you're into books and vintage!

The owner is a DELIGHT and seemed to have a genuine love for books, and getting people to read books. My husband and his sister got a couple of beers and they were delicious. I like how you can get a book and get a beer and just sit there and enjoy. They have a section of used books for a lower price along with a cafe. They even sell records. They also have a cafe. I did not get a chance to visit it since I was happily overwhelmed by all the books. The third floor has the children's section which has colorful decorations, as well as cards, trinkets, journals, and vinyls for sale. Northshire has friendly employees who were very helpful. I am pleased to report they have a large used book section on the second floor. I will definitely be visiting this charming place more often!

Great for browsing - no pressure, just walk around and look and read. Very nice cookbook section, and we really appreciate the American history books. It's also located next to the 394 Grill, so a delicious lunch followed by a bookstore visit makes for one terrific afternoon.
