That said, the Re-Collector has picked up a few gems so if you're a hard core collector, you'll likely spend a little time flipping through the bins. There's some CDs, DVDs, cassettes, and even a shelf of 8-tracks, and then a bunch of completely randomized tschotschkes. While I'm a sucker for this sort of thing usually we haven't found anything interesting on repeated visits. The music and vibe can be interesting or annoying, which goes double for the Re-Collector himself; he seems to be a bit moody. The store's pretty cramped, too, so go in with your claustrophobia under control and I recommend not taking any bags in, either. Worth a buzz-by if you like random odd used stuff stores, but not a can't miss one-of-those-things IMHO.

Later that evening, I checked my receipt and found that I had been overcharged from the sticker price on one of the albums. As a semi serious collector I also loaded my new funds into my Discogs collection, and discovered that each of the albums were overvalued at this store by $15-$20. So, shame on me for not checking, Shame on them for ripping off customers. I won't be going back. If you want vinyl at a fair price, The Re-Collector is only a block or so away.

Furthermore, the majority of items here are expensive and not worth the price. That being said, this FYE does offer lots of movies, posters, candy, and unique items. Also, this FYE has vinyls which seems to be a fad right now and they often offer sales on movies. Forbye, this FYE sometimes gets celebrities to do autograph signings which is interesting. It's usually former WWE wrestlers or former sports players. In the final instance, this FYE is a decent store, but it used to be much better.

I really enjoyed the cd quality and the case had no scratches, or broken pieces. I had been waiting a long time to find this cd so having it now is mind-blowing. The booklet with all of the lyrics has amazing pictures included, as well as the picture behind the cd. No poster included which is a bummer but everything else makes up for it. I played it all the way through with no skips, although I did drop it and the case broke really easily which I guess is expected with cheap plastic. I did spend around $15 and the shipping was almost the same amount as the product itself which is not the best. Overall, my expectations were met and I expected nothing less since I ordered from the official website. I would definitely repurchase from this website because the products are great and physical media lovers would really enjoy the variety of items there are. The website was very easy to navigate and includes many different music artists and products such as cd's, vinyl's, clothing merch, etc. It also has occasional holiday sales which is what lead me to purchase this cd. The policy stated that a customer can only order 1 copy and any additional copies/orders may result in the cancellation of all orders. My issue: Due to the high demand and limited supply of this hard to find album, I was very intent upon purchasing this at the exact time it was set to be released on Apr 20 (10 AM PST / 1PM EST). In fact, EVR had a limited release of 2500 copies a month prior (March 2023) which instantly sold out and I was not lucky enough to get one. So when this pre-order was announced, I was under the impression that it would be a similar situation where I'd need to act swiftly in order to get a copy. So when the time came to pre-order the album on Apr 20, I had multiple windows open on my web browser so that I could increase my chances of starting the order process and avoid being kicked out into the virtual queue, which is what had happened to me back in March when I was unlucky. Needless to say, this time my orders went through with no problem. Yes, my ORDERS (multiple) went through at just about the same time which I immediately recognized to be in violation of the 1 copy per customer policy. As soon as I had placed the multiple orders, I immediately attempted to reach out to the Merch Now customer service team for assistance in cancelling one of the orders. Merch Now does not have a way to contact their customer service team by phone to provide immediate assistance (as most companies do), but rather you are encouraged to leave a voicemail and/or send an email, which I did both. They say that responses take an average of 1-3 business days due to being a small, family-owned business with limited staff resources, which I can appreciate. However, given the time sensitivity of the situation due to the limited order window, I would have expected that the Merch Now team would have been prepared to be more responsive and willing to assist. This was not the case. When Merch Now customer service did finally respond to my email on 4/24/23 after the pre-order window had closed, they told me that both of my orders had been canceled due violating the guidelines by ordering two copies when the limit was one copy per customer. At this time I was considered out luck as far as they were concerned because they could do nothing to help me. There was no acknowledgement whatsoever of the fact that I had tried to proactively reach them in advance to address the issue. Merch Now did not offer any solutions to help and basically continued to tell me that I was in the wrong. Needless to say, the experience I had with Merch Now's customer service team was extremely disappointing and I did not find them to helpful in anyway. I wanted to share my experience and recommend you purchase with caution, especially if there are any high demand products you wish to purchase. If you happen to make a mistake on your order good luck getting any timely help! TL;DR: I accidentally placed multiple orders on an item with a strict 1 copy policy and there was a 48-hour purchase window. When I tried to contact Merch Now customer service to help resolve my issue, I was met with a slow response time (after the order window already expired), told I violated the policy and that there was no way they could help me. Whitney Book Corner sells all types of books for all ages, including recent best sellers and authors you've likely heard of or read other works by. I have also found MANY non-fiction books for myself and loved ones over the years, including a variety of cook books and specialty gardening and crafting books. There is also a small section of "local" books about the area and plenty of poetry and classic reads, too. They have a lovely back room full of children's books and the creative minds in the store have done a great job displaying books celebrating different holidays and hot topics throughout the seasons. The staff also often wraps 2 or 3 books on a matching topic together or add notes of recommendation to their own favorite reads, which I find incredibly charming.

I understood that no refunds are given and all sales are final and no returns. I took it back anyway feeling they would want to know about this. We just received a response of oh wow and sorry. I did expect that they would refund the $2.00 as this was very deceptive to resell a food product that had been opened and very discreetly resealed but no refund was given. I urge all customers here not to purchase food items as they may be potentially dangerous. if they have been resealed. I'll still be a customer for other items here but will never purchase food because of the safety of how food is handled.
