We literally pulled into this wonderful place right as they were closing. We asked simply what they had left we did not expect them to make anything fresh for us at that hour... Much our surprise they had everything ready to go and we're more than happy to help us. Five stars just for that and the Survis with a smile. Now let's talk about how awesome that food was. Got the pulled pork party pack which was four sides buns and 4 pounds of pulled pork. An entire jar of their signature barbecue sauce that you get to choose from. We chose the plane as we have several Midwesterners with us who catch up seems to be a little too spicy for them :-) The end result was a delicious meal that everybody was completely satisfied with. It was fantastically delicious and can't wait to make a midnight sandwich with all the leftovers we have. Fantastic staff, fantastic food and the service was above and beyond. Thank you so much for saving dinner on a holiday weekend. Eternally grateful and so thankful we found you.

A 34.99 meal shows up as 36.39. A 18.99 meal shows up as 19.75. Then the subtotal of those 2 incorrect amounts, then the tax. When asked about the amounts, I was told that a credit card "tax" was added automatically. So are they charging a tax on a tax? Why would they assume before even getting the bill that it was being paid by credit card. They are not disclosing how much the credit card fee is, and hiding it at the bottom, like paying cash gives you a discount. This is so disingenuous. Inflated amounts are being used to base tips on and I am not falling for this B.S. To the owners....Just do the right thing before you chase off all your good customers.

The new owners are very friendly and my husband spoke favorably of the changes inside. (He picked up the order.) Said it would be a really nice place to watch a game, etc. As to the food. The chicken was very moist and hot, but for us it was disappointing as to taste. A little bland for us. We kind of felt the same way about the potatoes. The coleslaw was fine but nothing special. Chicken places are a dime a dozen in the area and there are others that we prefer. But I could also see why this option would be preferable to some people. We still intend to try the place again and try some other things on the menu and perhaps watch a game.
