When she returned to the facility I tried for two days to find her new location. I twice asked for a call from the director and I am still waiting for a call from him. I live in California. They would not allow me to speak to my aunt directly and would not return my calls. What kind of a facility does this? Is my aunt a prisoner here? My Mother was in assisted living at WE for 6 months. We were charged for assistance care that she…read morenever received. When I questioned it and asked what care we were being charged for all of a sudden she was dropped to the minimal care. Had I not said anything we would have continued to Pay the higher cost. They also ordered my Mother medication that she did not have a prescription for. The cost was $800! That feels illegal to me to order patients meds without a script and very dangerous to the patients. They refused to answer any emails about the situation and i was told over the phone I had to pay the pharmaceutical bill. Obviously I do but they ordered the wrong meds so they were at fault and refused to take any responsibility at all. Not even an apology! So if u place a loved 1 there u better be watching over their shoulder! Additionally my Mothers med schedule was terrible and most of the time if she did not go ask for them at the desk she would not get them!
