Caution: HarborChase of Dr. Phillips Assisted Living…read more My parents lived here for 41 days (Aug 15-Sept 25, 2025). After I filed a complaint, the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) issued a 48-page Statement of Deficiencies citing failures including not following physician orders and medication-related deficiencies. These findings are public record. During those 41 days there were three Executive Directors (DJ, Tammy, and Heather). The Head of Maintenance (Luis) also left. When I moved my parents out, I confirmed a zero balance. Our sales agent had represented one free month. After move-out, Katherine Schachter (Regional Director of Operations) and Mark McBride (Chief Operating Officer) provided written assurances regarding credits and refunds. However, full billing statements were not provided until February 26, 2026 -- five months later -- After my parents had already moved out, we received two phone calls delivering the same recorded message from Heather (Executive Director) identifying by first and last name an Independent Living resident who had died by suicide. I reported this as a potential privacy concern. Based on our documented experience, I do not recommend HarborChase of Dr. Phillips Assisted Living. The response to my post is to contact HarborChase. No I gave you 5 months to correct your mistakes. Give my parents their money back!! You violated both the medical and financial part of the contract!

They are 40 minutes from my home, but I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I always end up with a lot of exercises to do after therapy is over and each time there are new things. It's great that they recommend getting a gym membership but then don't recommend a way to pay for that membership for someone who struggles to survive on disability. It's not something that anyone stops to consider unless they have actually been in that position themselves. On this run there is a therapist along with a person who is finalizing their training working with me. Each day I do what they tell me to do and do my best to work with them for what I can handle. When I come back from a next visit we talk about pain and issues I might have had on the following day from the last visit. They make adjustments as necessary and we continue. I'm only a few sessions in this time and will be back twice a week for 8 weeks before there is an evaluation. The downside is that I don't have all the equipment they have so some of the things they teach me I don't get to do unless I'm there. All the people I've ever met working here have been friendly and professional.

Pancho who did my initial consultation did an excellent job explaining to me my injury in detail and showing me how physical therapy should benefit my recovery from the injury. He did a far better job at helping me understand what was going on with my back than my orthopedic doctor! His enthusiasm and expertise made me feel much better about my recovery and pain management. After my initial consultation visit I would usually work with Andres. He gave me some exercises and stretches to do at home and also provided me with books to read regarding core strengthening while I was on the traction table. He was also very understanding and patient with me during the therapy process. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody looking for a physical therapist. They are all very friendly and caring and the office staff was very flexible and understanding with the scheduling.

I appreciated Ann-Marie's doctorate, EMDR, and advice. I thought she was a great counselor until last Friday, when she ghosted me. We had an appointment scheduled, and I discovered that she dropped me as a client without any notification. No email or message to explain why. I contacted Rula (the company that set us up), and was told in an email, "According to their note, the decision was based on a mismatch in specialization, and they recommended a rematch to ensure you receive the best possible care." If she was so concerned about my care, she should've sent me a message telling me that she was dropping me as a client, why she was doing so, and wishing me luck. Ghosting me the way she did was very unprofessional and hurtful.
