We first met Pat and Michael on their wedding anniversary and they canceled their plans to take my mom in their lovely home the same day. They provided snacks and healthy home cooked meals, activities to help keep my mom and other residents engaged, and top notch care around the clock. Pat & Michael rented a van over Christmas and took my mom out to see the pretty lights. They celebrated her birthday with flowers, presents and decorated their house. During a hurricane warning, they invited my dad to come stay with them. My family and I were always welcome to visit and stay however long we wanted. They regularly sent us pictures and texts to let us know how my mom was doing, which was really sweet. Being in a private, loving home is so much more welcoming than a sterile facility. Towards the end of my moms life, Pat was feeding my mom every meal and trying to keep her as comfortable as possible. They treated my mom and family with kindness and respect, and we are forever grateful. I can't say enough great things about Pat's Serenity Home Care. I highly recommend the family as they take excellent care of your loved ones!

The head nurse took the records upstairs and altered them to match the missing medicine. When we confronted her with the obvious change in records and started snapping pictures of them she said "well you should have taken pictures before I changed them, shouldn't you of?" I should have trusted my gut when he did the root canal and the infection didn't go away and he still filled in the tooth and said the infection didn't go away. Fast forward a year later the tooth had to be pulled cuz the infection never healed. So much money down the drain :(

What I got was... an experience. Let's break it down. Lounge Area 10/10 on aesthetics. The waiting area is beautifully decorated, the chairs are comfortable, and the music was great. It felt more like a trendy lounge than a dental office. Clean, modern, thoughtfully designed. Honestly, if vibes could clean teeth, this place would be elite. Receptionist Hillary at the front desk was fantastic, friendly, warm, and genuinely welcoming. First impressions matter, and she absolutely delivered. Other Staff The team seemed happy and upbeat. At one point it felt like karaoke hour in the best way. You can tell the staff enjoys working together. The energy is light and positive, which is refreshing in a dental setting. Bathroom Clean and well-maintained. No complaints there. The Exam Process Here's where things shifted. The exam involved an excessive number of photos from multiple angles, tools holding my mouth open, extended time under bright lights. I understand documentation is important, but there was little explanation during the process. When I asked questions about what was going on, the responses felt vague and rushed. Then came the big reveal. The Diagnosis & Treatment Plan Instead of receiving the routine cleaning I scheduled, I was told my teeth were in poor condition and that I needed a more involved (and more expensive) procedure not covered by my insurance. The conversation felt less like healthcare guidance and more like a sales presentation. The focus seemed to shift toward upselling rather than addressing my primary reason for coming in. Dr. Carolina Londono did not come across as reassuring or transparent to me. Trust is huge in healthcare, and I simply didn't feel it in that moment. Second Opinion The next day, I went to my previous provider for a second opinion. Completely different experience. They disagreed with the assessment, performed a standard cleaning fully covered by insurance, and did not find the severe issues I was warned about. That contrast spoke volumes. Trust & Bedside Manner For me, bedside manner is about clarity, transparency, and feeling like your provider is advocating for your health, not your wallet. While the office excels in atmosphere and friendliness, I left feeling uneasy rather than confident. Final Thoughts Dream Dental absolutely wins on ambiance, music, and aesthetics. If I were reviewing it as a coworking space, it might get five stars. But when it comes to dental care, trust outweighs décor every time. If something feels off, get a second opinion. There are other trustworthy dental offices out there. I ended up going back to mine, and I'm glad I did. Read the reviews, but also listen to your instincts.

I have been a resident here at Spring Haven since August 1, 2019 and want to post my review. We have admirable Staff, i.e., Management, Clerical, Janitorial, Maintenance (inside & outside), Activity is exceptionally provided by our Activities Director, Chef prepared meals. A 'Plus factor' is being called by our first name. How all can remember our names is puzzling to me. My studio apartment spaciously accommodates my needs with a fully applianced kitchen and adequate full bath having safety rails and a walk-in shower. I toured Spring Haven at a suggestion from my Health Coach, Tanya Jekovich, whom I can't thank enough! Thank you, Carol B. read more

After 10 years of trusting Peace River Center with my health and well-being, they managed to…read moredestroy all of the trust and respect I had for their organization over the course of just 48 hours. They actually caused me significant trauma, for absolutely no justifiable reason, and I now need to seek treatment elsewhere just to process and move past their egregious treatment of me. I am extremely reluctant to separate from the therapist I've been seeing through Peace River for nearly a decade, and I think I can trust her to continue providing quality mental health care. However, I have now witnessed just how dishonest and incompetent some of her coworkers are, and it turns my stomach to think that these are the people entrusted with helping vulnerable members of our community in times of crises. And I'm not referring to office staff or billing department - I'm talking about the people who have fancy degrees and are getting paid to provide help. I've now encountered at least two individuals who are so shockingly inept that their presence in that type of environment causes me great sorrow and fear for any patients unfortunate enough to cross paths with such impatiently busy and callously cruel women. Peace River Center has a bad reputation - and for very good reasons. If you are at all able to, please seek treatment elsewhere. You don't deserve to be punished by these people for needing help.
