My Aunt, the last living relative of my mother's immediate family, has been a resident here for years. Recently she was taken to a rehab facility for reasons which weren't made clear to me. When she returned to the facility I tried for two days to find her new location. I twice asked for a call from the director and I am still waiting for a call from him. I live in California. They would not allow me to speak to my aunt directly and would not return my calls. What kind of a facility does this? Is my aunt a prisoner here? Has really gone downhill overall in the last few months with cleaning and maintaining inside of building along with kiosk not working. List goes on. read more

The building was destroyed by Holiday since taking over Meridian has done their best to correct the issues. Many utilities had to be ripped out and replaced. Exterior has been fixed including the roof and public area carpeting is being replaced. Bad management were responsible for the deterioration. It should back to normal by summer. Generators have been installed. read more

this place is dull and dreary. still the price was right. well you get what you pay for. my mother was not treated well. she lived there just over 2 months. was not given the meds she came in with and put on meds that made her memory worse. she was scared at times. she would call me crying that she couldn't find her way home. I would tell her how to find her room and I heard snickering in the background. the staff was unfriendly and heartless. they wouldn't help her at all. this place is too big , your just a number there and the staff just isn't trained to help with memory care. they acted like the issues were the first time they had seen this. my mother is in a smaller more caring facility now and flourishing.. if your independent this place is probably ok. but not if your loved one needs any sort of extra care. they don't give it or don't know how to give it.. read more
