The guys that are "running" this company are brothers who are destroying the good reputation that their dad has built. They will take your money, waste your time, lie to your face, then just not show up or respond. My favorite lies were: #1 (Hollis)"yea we'll take care of it when we do the job next door". After completing that job I got them, to my face tell me that "the guy driving the bucket truck (peeling out) doesn't have a cell phone so we'll go catch him and come back". #2 (Rodney) "Ok I'll have them guys out here in 2 hours to do the job". 4 hours later when I call: " we got stuck in traffic on the interstate and then we blew a tire". (me) "oh man that's no good, think you can make it out tomorrow sometime?" (Rodney) "yea we will, I gotta go my brothers calling from the hospital, click..." never heard from or could reach them afterward. The moral is if you don't want to or can't do a job, just say so. No need to lie, insult someone's intelligence and waste their time waiting around on false promises. I recommend saving yourself some trouble and call another tree service. The slightly lower price isn't worth the headache and frustration, even though the outlandish backwoods style fibs were pretty funny considering they thought I believed it.

He had three large trees to do, did the first two (although he left the stumps a mess), but then said he didn't have the equipment to do the third tree and he'd be back in two weeks. Two months went by and it took a lot of texting to jog his memory, since he would never answer his phone, and didn't have voicemail. He allowed as how he might show up to finish the work someday if they were working in our area! By then I said I'd rather have a partial refund, as I had paid him in full. We haggled over it, but finally agreed on a refund amount which I thought was low. Then he ghosted us; no calls, no texts, no money, after several texts to him. His business principle seems only to be to "get paid and get out". There are plenty of tree services around Knoxville. I would not recommend him to anyone.
