Rude and obnoxious. I will buy from Novi from now on. Plan and avoid Lafayette party at all cost. Also they sell at the state maximum.

I came in here one night looking for a couple white whale craft beers that I had a very little chance of finding. The guy behind the counter looked at me like I was crazy. Like how can you walk into this store and not find something to walk out with! I told him the beers and he said he hasn't seen them for weeks but if they come out they'll stock em. Their selection is really awesome. They have beers from all over Michigan, the US, and the world. It's really right there in line with the other great beer selections. I picked up KBS here for about 7 bucks. This is beyond resonable as I paid 3 dollars more at the party store up the street. They did tell me it would be posted on facebook, which it wasn't but I'm happy I was able to acquire it for a nice fair price. They also have a great wine selection, deli counter, meats, and actual market foods that justify the name market. Country Acres Beer Place just doesn't have that great of a ring to it. Due to the friendly staff and great selection this and Hillers are my two go to places for beer now. They were beyond fair and didn't give me some spiel about how they only save their beers for their best customers or jack the price up 10 bucks above the suggested retail like most of the party stores.

Specifically THIS butcher shop! They know what they're doing here at Milford's Village Butcher, and whatever you want, you get! Pick your bread, add your meat, select a cheese, throw on some toppings... and you've got a 5-star custom sammie that's literally the best in town. N O. J O K E. Once you've had a sandwich here, you'll never step foot in a Subway ever again. That's a promise. We like to add a bag of Great Lakes potato chips to our pile of goodies, specifically the Parmesan Ranch flavor (soooo good!) They carry a wide range of local and Michigan-made products, including Great Harvest Bread Company's delicacies and Grand Traverse Pie Company's pies. DO NOT leave without a bottle of Dearborn honey mustard, Srodek's pierogies, Pop Daddy pretzels & popcorn, and some freshly-made sausages and brats. Any meats you're looking for, they've got it. Unique sauces, dressings, and spice mixes... they've also got you covered. The store is small, but everything they sell is top choice. If they don't have it, you don't need it! Staff is friendly and accommodating, and will offer suggestions if you're unsure of what you want to eat, make, or try! I can't say enough good things about this butcher shop! Please stop here if you're in or around the Milford area-- you won't be sorry! The icing on the cake are theit hours. The Meat/Seafood area are open until 11. So if you get off work late or just need a steak later on in the evening you can fulfill your needs here! Most of the staff is helpful. The older gentleman (can't remember his name at the moment) is so knowledgeable. I love when he is working because I know I am going to get great service and a great product. The produce department is usually well stocked and always looks presentable. They also have a large Pre-made food area. Their Rotisserie chickens are great. They are made with natural ingredients like salt and pepper or herbs. So many places load them up with ingredients you can't pronounce. They also have a nice Beer and Wine Selection. The Cons: The staff had changed over some and an employee was closing the seafood area down hours earlier than usual(8:00). Not sure where Management was in that decision and on allowing that to happen. Really made an impact on scheduling and others we spoke with. Hopefully that will be corrected.

The atmosphere is like going to Grandma's house--except Grandma forgot how to cook and decided to decorate with politics instead of personality. The menu feels dated, the decor feels dated, and the food has absolutely no flair. Everything we tried was bland and unappetizing. The tacos were honestly less enjoyable than Taco Bell, and the pierogies were a complete disappointment. A Polish-Mexican concept could be creative and exciting, but this felt like neither cuisine was done particularly well. It's unfortunate that such a great Milford location is occupied by a restaurant that seems so badly in need of a full refresh--from the food and menu to the decor and overall atmosphere.
