Avoid getting tattooed by Gabbi at all costs. I had the unfortunate luck of having Gabbi do my tattoo. I had walked in and asked for an umbrella tattoo about 3in in length. It was a simple design, just an umbrella with rain drops dropping underneath it with the actual umbrella being blacked in with some white drops inside. I had to ask her to redraw it a couple times to have the design simplified. Once we got to the tattooing I noticed the lines seemed to be wobbly and some weren't even connected but I thought maybe it was because of the angle I was looking from... the rain drops turned out to be blobs and the lines were disconnected, wobbly, and some were just forgotten completely. She wasn't able to draw a straight line to save her life and the droplets were different sizes and turned in odd directions. When I actually saw the finished product in the mirror and realized she was done my heart had dropped. I was so speechless I had left in a hurry and sat in my car for an hour taking pictures of it to see if it actually looked that horrid. I immediately called another tattoo place in desperation and had them look at it and they were shocked at the work. I had to wait for it to heal and thought about getting it removed but then I went to a shop called Tank Tattoo South and met Cody. The whole shop was there for me and was shocked at the ironic name of the tattoo shop (Lady Luck). He fixed the lines, shaded it in and added some clouds for some pizzazz. Please save your money and stress by avoiding and refusing Gabbi. Frankly, she shouldn't tattoo anyone ever. read more

I called a couple weeks ago and got an appointment made with Mike. Yesterday I walked into a very clean shop with a friendly staff. Before this I had texted with Mike about what I wanted so when I came in all I had to do was sign a couple forms and he printed out the stencil. We discussed placement and he was very clean and sanitary about setting up. The tattoo is in memory of my dad who passed this last year and I felt that Mike really listened to what I wanted and made it even better. They're pricing is very good and he asked me what I did for aftercare as this is my 7th tattoo so he didn't have to go into too much detail but he did offer to if I wanted. I LOVE this place! Vinny is second to none!! I had an old tattoo touched up about a month ago. Recently I had Vinny draw two more new tattoos. During the session my body decided it wasn't having it and I became faint, sweaty and nauseous. I vomited and Vinny was very professional, a gentleman and calmly and kindly handled the situation. Because of his reaction I was not embarrassed at all, had him finish the tattoos and needless to say I will definitely be going back to him for more tattoos in the future. My friends and family whom I have showed the tattoos to can't stop ranting and raving about the remarkable work of art Vinny did. I'm visiting the area and decided to get a tat while in town. It's always scary going somewhere new and unfamiliar. I had read a lot of good reviews about Molly, Lillith, and Eileen. I wasn't able to book them but I was helped by Vinnie. He was nice and helpful. He sketched the pictures I had and I was very nervous how it would turn out even though my tat was very small and seemed simple. But he did a great job! If I have time before I leave town I will go back for another. It seems everyone's work there is very good. I'm healing up nicely and it looks great. 8 months later, I have to edit my review. My tattoo ended up being a little sketchy. It started to fade in certain spots and it looked like it needed to be filled in and retouched. So when I got back into town two months ago I went in and asked Vinnie to touch it up for me. It wasn't the greatest job, I see some small mistakes that were made and of course I have to look at it every day so it does bother me a bit. If I do get it retouched one more time, I won't be going here to get it done read more

I love this place. I come into town at least once per year and get a new tattoo every year. The last one I received was a peacock from Vinny. It is so pretty. I have received numerous complements on the colors and the drawing. I really love that they back up their work by doing free touch ups. I have had Lillith do 2 of my tattoos. I'd follow Molly anywhere (even to the edges of Aurora), and luckily for me, she's found a great home in this wonderful woman owned shop, which I love that I am supporting. They are clean, nice to hang out in, laid back, and very welcoming. Of course, I'd highly suggest Molly; both my partner and I have several pieces from her, as do friends, and even my pretty buttoned up lawyer of a sister. I was researching tattoo places and reviews to see who could fix my GFs tattoo. Just out of curiosity I looked up the place that did her tattoo. I wasn't going to post a review until I read that last review by Chloe (brutal) about Gabby . We had a very similar experience. We came in a while back and she got a flower. It looks like a 5 year old child colored it in. We felt horrible about it but even worse when our friends saw it and they said it was really bad . I asked Gabby how long she was tattooing and she said 6 years.....wow. thats either a lie or worse she's that bad and been at it for that long. I don't understand how the owner can live with their employee screwing up peoples skin permanently. Doesn't he care about the shops reputation? I agree with the last review. Gabby should not be doing this to customers. Now my GF has to pay to get it fixed. And we will recommend to everyone to stay far away from Gabby and Lady Luck read more

Have been working on a design/idea for a "divorce" tattoo for two years. I didn't want to go to just any shop or to just any artist. Lady Luck came highly recommended. Visited the shop, talked to the artists and looked through their portfolios. After some questions, I chose Vinny. Feel a little Pokemonish, but that's how it goes. Scheduled my appointment and came back at my assigned time and date. Vinny looked at the design, we talked about placement and colors, and after a consult, went to the art room. After about 1 hour 40 minutes, Vinny was ready for the reveal. I was blown away at how he had taken my vision/idea and took it to the next level. I highly recommend Lady Luck. A while back I was recommended to go to Lady Luck. When I came in, there was a counter girl named Gabby. She immediately asked what tattoo I was looking to do. I described it, then before any other questions she wanted me to do some paperwork. I felt such pressure since I walked in the door. I then told her that my best friend told me to see Molley. She responded " She's busy and she's booked out for a long time". I then thought well its a small tattoo so there shouldn't be a problem. When I got home I was in tears, it looked horrible. My fiancé said the lines were blurry and could hardly read it. I don't know if she was still learning to tattoo, but there was a reason I asked for Molley since I have seen the beautiful work she has done. Since then I have gotten married and had it fixed at another studio. I was thinking maybe Molley could fix it, but I really didn't want to see Gabby since it was such a horrible experience from the moment I walked in the door. read more

With the consult she informed me of all the areas that would be painful along with where they would last and where the ink would be rejected. Ashamed Disappointed Horrible!!! I reached out to Lady Luck Tattoo months ago after doing research and going through their previous tattoos. I connected with Eileen and we talked about what I was looking for in my tattoo design and were able to set up a time for a consultation and following that an appointment to complete my tattoo. I have to say after all of this I was beyond shocked and disappointed that the quality was beyond horrible. When I originally spoke with Eileen I explained that I wanted a butterfly tattoo on my wrist with shading to make it seem as it was popping out from the surface and beyond that my biggest thing I wanted to incorporate semi colons into the art work. This was the biggest point of my tattoo and what meant the most to me! I have been in twice and had it touched up by Eileen. I would never recommend this place due to the fact that the coloring did not stay the color has not just faded but literally disappeared and I have not had the tattoo but only 3 months, I have never had problems with any of my other tattoos I have and understand that it dulls and fades but what my wrist looks likes looks like a two year old tried coloring on me and gave up half way through different colors to move on to the next that added with a few distinct random dots of color. The design looked good originally but was followed out with sloppy almost scribbling lines. The semi colons look horrible and are not even noticeable or recognizable. I am beyond disappointed and upset with the quality from the shop with color and the execution . I absolutely hate my tattoo and explain to everyone who sees it that I NEED TO GET IT FIXED! Are you kidding me I already have to get it fixed yet again! I thought I did my homework and explained thoroughly the basic details of what I was looking for from the beginning and wow did I think wrong! For something as basic as a butterfly with a semi colon and color they seem to put in no thought or effort into just a little tattoo. I am ashamed of what I have currently and can't wait to have it redone by someone who shows a true talent instead of this worthless junk of a two year old's art work I currently display. This tattoo meant a lot to me and bottom line when I look at it I feel nothing but sadness and regret that it turned out the way it did. read more
