We had the Thai version with slaw on the side - just AMAZING! Incredible flavors, especially the peanut sauce. A perfect mix with the other toppings, and we loved the touch of sriracha for kick (but not flaming). The homemade pineapple slaw was also fantastic, and a great mild paring to the flavors with the dawg. Hope we catch this truck again to try the tacos next!

Ray and Nikki are incredibly friendly and welcoming--they make you feel like family. The Reuben is hands down the best I've ever had, and the smoked, house-made corned beef is next level. Every side is amazing--the mac and cheese is addictive, the beans are top notch, and even the macaroni salad (per Ray's recommendation) was incredible. At this point, I'd trust them to just serve me whatever they recommend because I know I'll love it. Never had a bad meal here--easily my #1 spot in Sarasota!

Something different for me…read more I seldom have Korean food so I don't have much previous experience to go on, but I can say I liked the Bul Go Gi I had this evening. Somehow my wife found out about this food truck, currently located at the West Coast Church of the Cross on Tuttle just north of the Siesta Drive circle. We can be a little adventurous sometimes, so off we went. We got both the beef and chicken versions, they also offer pork. The operator, I assume Charlie from their facebook page, was super nice. He made sure we got just what we wanted, and we headed home. Opening the containers, it didn't look particularly appetizing. It did, however, taste very good. The marinated meats, both the beef and chicken, were very good. I like noodles and I also liked the ones in this dish. I felt like it was something I might find in a food court. Without really knowing what good Bul Go Gi is vs bad Bul Go Gi, I found no problems with either the food or the experience, so I'm rating them high.
