And they gave us a coupon for a two for one drink (they probably hoped we would get wasted before seeing our room, in retro I wish I had also). And that is the friendliest thing I can say. ° The mattresses are lopsided, loud, some springs are definitely retired. ° The previous guests, the flies, were still staying in the room when we arrived. ° Desk service was apathetic and non-responsive (could stand to be replaced by one of the energetic flies). ° There is WiFi like advertised. Just don't plan on using it. It disconnected every other minute and when it stayed connected it moved at the same speed that a mannequin runs a race. Hardly hyperbole. ° Like curtains? Like peekaboo? Great. This place is a good mix for you. Plenty of moths have eaten holes through the window covers. ° Paper thin walls. I'll just give them this one. It's an old building. Who cares? But that other stuff pretty well sucks and can be fixed.

We almost stopped at McDonalds on the way home to get something decent to eat. I've eaten all over the world and have never seen anyone make a worse pasta dish. In addition to this, they failed to get several orders correct, over baked the popovers, and I'm pretty sure one of the waitresses farted (aka 'crop dusted us) as she walked by our table. This and the next door El Sombrero share two things: both have horrible food and neither will ever get another dime from me.

He was late to meetings (they were phone meetings), had barely any communication in between booking and the wedding, and was very cocky. When asked if he would be at the rehearsal the night before to practice timing, he said that he is the best in the area and could get the list the morning of and it would be perfectly fine. I gave him the full list for music on the phone call meeting however blamed me saying the reason there was issues is because he didn't get the list till the morning of the wedding when I sent him the Spotify playlist, he asked for to double check the versions. He made me make the playlist for the ceremony and reception, and when he was given notes at the meeting as well on all the forms provided from both of us still did not do what was asked. I asked for an announcement not to be made about the cake cutting and from the 2 mins after I walked away still made an announcement. I am not going to list every issue otherwise this would be book of a review. All I am going to say is he kept the vibe up with fill in songs, but all of the important songs and announcements were not done how they were supposed to be done. Very upset knowing I could have done all the music with Spotify and had someone make a couple announcements and it would have been not only cheaper but done correctly.
