Generally it's a good tour. They can make it better by renovating their buses. The bus was too old.

This ride is not wheelchair accessible even though when they sell the tickets they told us it was.

The restaurants you get taken to will vary depending on a few factors, such as how big your tour group is and how busy the restaurants are. Our tour host was very knowledgeable and took care of any concerns we had along the way. Just a few constructive criticisms - Our online booking caused a bit of trouble but our host made sure to get us caught up with our group. If you are booking last minute, I would email or call to make sure your booking was received. Be EARLY since they start right on time or even early. - The walking tour portion of Byward market could use some expanding. It's nice to learn about the history of everything and what's going on, but since you are on such a tight schedule, there's only time to stop for a minute or two at a handful of spots. - I'm a meat lover and was a bit sad we didn't get more meat, but this could be restaurant specific. Portion sizes were okay, about what you'd expect at restaurants going for quality over quantity.

Having four different dishes at four different restaurants is definitely my idea of a great meal out! We hit up the Brig for a cheese plate, Play for salad, Kinki for sushi and Must for dessert. Everything was excellent and nice to have the accompanying wine at each location. All the restaurants were really accommodating to our various dietary restrictions (trust me when I say we were a challenging crowd)! Corey really went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of at each place. Highly recommended!!

The bike itself look really nice, make you feel like the heroe of some sort of sci-fi movie while driving it. Its electric, so of course its silent, and acceleration is right there when you need it. Super fun to ride The activity take place part in the village, part in the forest trails. On the road, it is fast enough to keep up with cars no problem, and in the trails its so fast that you just can't keep it full throttle all the time. Brake are VERY responsive, from full speed to complete stop... 10 or 20 cm at the most! There is a small seat for kids at the back. It would make a perfect activity for a single parent looking to spend quality time with is kid. I'll be back for sure and I'll bring friends, when I showed her the pictures, even my ex wanted to come!.

The pathway is about 30km, but you can get on and off at certain points, so you definitely don't have to do the entire length. It's fully paved and not particularly hilly. Just watch out for goose poop along certain parts of the path during certain times of the year, lol. Goose poop aside, the Ottawa River Pathway is beautiful. It's great for getting some exercise, be it cycling, rollerblading, jogging, Nordic walking, power walking, or even taking a leisurely stroll, while admiring nature. Sunsets along certain parts of the Pathway are especially breathtaking.

Be careful of the goose droppings on the grass, though. The cyclists using this path would rather the pedestrians walked on the grass, and the walkers would prefer if the cyclists used the grass! All of us are avoiding the droppings left by the Canada Geese that frequent this area. Also, look for the man who builds Inukshuk (if I've spelled that right?) For many years now, a man has been building amazing statues out of the rocks at the shoreline - they rocks balance on each other at seemingly impossible angles, threatening to drop at any moment, but seem to keep their balance! There was an article about him several years ago in the Canadian Geographic. It's been a pleasure to watch him work, and he's become something of a tourist attraction. It's May now, and I haven't seen him there yet this year, but maybe the water's too cold yet. Maybe he begins this work after the Victoria Day weekend.

Rolling down the Ottawa river was a welcome break from all the walking, and you get to see these beautiful views of the city from the water that you otherwise would be completely unknown to you, like who really shot JFK. Our guide was a sweet and cheery girl, she enjoyed talking with guests and answering questions. The other staff were quite friendly, the boat was clean, and even had a bar (thank you sweet baby Jesus!) which allowed for my wife and I to enjoy a glass of wine on the river. Definitely recommend.
