I'm in California, and at 5 PM Louisiana time I got a call from a call foreign center saying "they might not make the funeral". I asked for a manager, and when she came on the line, she said they definitely wouldn't make the funeral, but would try to avoid that in the future. I pointed out that people typically only die once, and therefore that was an empty promise. What happened to keeping your commitments, and understanding the depth of the impact?
