La' Dira is one of the best spas in TO ! Even though I used to live downtown I traveled to the Eglinton area for the amazing staff ! Kate the manager and also one of the esthetician is extra ! She is gentle, thoughtfull, extremely professionnal and knowledgeable. I tried different traetements there: -the pure oxygen facial that made my skin radiant and soft for weeks - waxing: I did not feel any pain and it was absolutelly well done - Aroma body massage: 45 minutes of pure happiness. Kate is very aware of aromatherapy and mixed essential oils depending on how I felt. It honestly always works and she always give good tips to take care of yourself at home. I heard about La Dira from a promotion on Groupon. I purchased the package and I for sure will be back for more spa services. The new location across from Sporting Life is beautiful! The space is clean, beautifully decorated and inviting. Angela was the one who I met on my first visit. She made the whole experience amazing and worth while. Angela was very professional, gentle, and interactive; she made sure to inform me with everything that she applied on my skin (All natural). The microdermabrasion treatment definitely buffed and refined my skin and I was glowing by the end of my appointment! La Dira is by far my most favourite spa clinic to date; the service and staff are exceptional. I cannot wait to go back for my next facial treatments for an important event in May! Please note that this new location is closer to Yonge and Eglinton rather than Yonge and Lawrence. Be prepared to fall asleep. I purchased the $55 One sea salt glow treatment and microdermabrasion or non-surgical skin care treatment on Groupon. Facts: 1). 10 Minutes walk from Elginton/ Lawrence subway station 2). This spa has been opened for 5-6 years but was recently relocated to its current location. It is located on the second floor of the building. Pros: 1). Very clean and cozy spa 2). Staffs are very professional and welcoming 3). Great packages are offered for Groupon customers (I was offered a package for 3 facials at a price of $65 each. With this package you can choose any facials you want, even the most expensive ones!) Cons: 1). Limited machines: My friend and I were both interested in doing the microdermabrasion facial but one of us were told to choose another treatment as they do not have enough machines for 2 people to do it simultaneously. I was then offered the Pure Skin Oxygen facial which also turned out to be great at the end! 2). 10 minutes walk can be a pain in the butt during winter times! Other than that, everythingès perfect:). I would recommend everyone to go try it out. Overall Experience: Right after I arrived, I was guided to a private room to get ready for the sea salt glow treatment. This treatment is basically a back scrub for exfoliating all your dead skin. The esthetician first used a steamer to open up the pores, then they applied cleanser, scrub and moisturizer. Through out the process, they gave me a mini back massage so that my skin would absorb all the goodies that were applied ;). Moving on to the Pure Oxygen facial. I have heard of this facial before as its a pre-event skincare treatment that a lot of celebrities like Jennifer Lopez swear by. This treatment is to make your skin look more plumped-up and glowy. Overall the process is pretty similar to a regular facial where they will first clean your face, then exfoliate and at the end, apply toner and a mask. During the process, they will use a machine which would emit Oxygen under pressure, works similar to an airbrush gun. My breakouts on my cheeks were gone after the treatment and my skin looks super glowy and hydrated! I was very satisfied with the results:). read more

I waited several minutes sitting in their hallway where the sign on the locked door said they would unlock it when they were free. Not a big problem but not ideal as I was imagining that when I waited I could sit inside where they have tea and a restroom. However, the main issue is I was told after waiting that I was not able to redeem my Groupon because two years prior I had purchased a Groupon from them. I was completely surprised as there was nothing about this in the Groupon offer to indicate it was only for new clients, not even the Fine Print. It said you can only buy 1 offer at a time and are free to repurchase the offer every 30 days. I asked if they could permit it this once and I would know for next time. No. That was the owner's policy and the esthetician was going to follow it. We wasted time discussing how the offer said nothing about this and reminded her I had purchased several other facials from them since this first Groupon. The woman said no exceptions allowed. I can understand why they might want this policy however you have not stipulated this and I bought it with the best off intentions. And you took my booking without asking me about this, and I planned my day around it and made a special trip to be there. Plus I had proven I would purchase from them again after the Groupon. Did not matter. Very disappointing indeed. I know the esthetician does a good job but unfortunately, as a matter of principle, I won't go back. If you are unwilling to be flexible this one time in order to keep me as a client then I have to vote with my pocketbook and spend my money elsewhere. : ( read more

Angela at La'Dira is the only person I trust with my face. I try to commit to 4 facials a year (one at the turn of every season). I just got my spring facial, microdermabrasion, oxygen treatment and I feel like a brand new woman. Goodbye dry winter skin and hello spring face. I swear I look years younger. I've always had a wonderful experience at La'Dira. They work with you for a comprehensive skin care routine. The estheticians gave me several tips for at-home skin care maintenance and always go over and above whatever treatment you have purchased. For example they have always offered me a complimentary chemical peel before any treatment. I've had Radio Frequency Skin Tightening, Oxygen Facial, LED therapy, and Microdermabrasion so far from this spa. The facility is very clean and the treatment rooms are very tranquil and relaxing, as you would expect a spa to be. It's also very reasonably priced so it's affordable as a monthly treat. Although it does not have the lush atmosphere of a 5 star resort, the quality of service makes up for any visual short comings. I'll be back and I highly recommend this spa! read more

My friends got me the oxygen facial and deep tissue massage as a gift for my birthday. I really enjoyed the services there but the best part really was the friendly staff. They made me feel comfortable and relaxed for the entire visit. I am not a fan of large, pretentious spas, so this one is a perfect fit for me. read more
