As I walked in, my exact thoughts were "oh my gosh, what a beautiful place!" We were both greeted by employees who were kind and made us feel welcome. As a first timer at Bliss, I seriously could not feel any more relaxed. The amount of nail colors to choose from was beyond out of this world, it was truly fabulous! My friend got a manicure and pedicure, and I got a pedicure. Mind you, I very rarely get my toe nails done - because I'm super ticklish and it's a sensory thing. I chose to step out of my comfort zone and get a pedicure. So glad I did! Despite the feeling of having the bottom of my feet scrubbed the entire process from beginning to end was very soothing. The big massage chair is a plus, I have lower back issues and the relief I got was stellar! Purple is my absolute favorite color - so of course that's the color I chose for my pedicure. My usual go-to for manicures is a woman. For my pedicure, I had a male employee and that does NOT bother me at all. He was very attention to detail and made my experience a good one. Hard working for sure! I'd like to even point out that when my Yeti tumbler fell off the side table attached to the massage chair (due to the back massage taking place) he cleared off some space on the shelving used drying a pedicure and allowed me to put my Yeti there. To top it off, he would stop very few minutes and ask if I'm alright (the employee noticed I was in a little bit of pain, my left ankle sprain did not heal properly). This will not be the last time I set foot into Bliss Nails & Spa! It's gonna be my go-to for pedicures (and manicures if the woman I go to is unavailable). When my friend and I showed up (5 minutes early by the way), we were told that they gave the appointment to two other girls that they just assumed had made the reservation and they could no longer take me. WTF? Absolutely will never go back. What's the point of taking appointments if you don't stand by your word and check people in? There was ZERO sympathy, it was just oops, tough luck. No compensation or any remorse, everyone just looked at each other, shrugged their shoulders, and went about their day. Extremely unprofessional.

Pros: love the online appointment feature; I love even more the armrest for manicures - I've never seen this anywhere else and it is soooo comfortable (see photo) that I almost fell asleep; the nail tech was super helpful in finding a popular and seasonal color for both my gel nails and regular pedicure. Cons: color selection is pretty limited; the nail tech cut into skin while cutting the cuticle of my big toe until I put a stop to it; the pedicure chair is uncomfortable and either needed to be brought forward more or I needed a pillow; the positioning of my foot during the pedicure caused foot cramps, which I have never had in many years of pedicures; the tech did not put the cuticle oil anywhere near my cuticles, it was on my 1st knuckle where it's not doing what it's used for; absolutely no back massage at any point.

It's $25 for a full manicure, gel polish, and neck and hand massage with the peel off wax that goes on your hands, complete with a nice hot towel. Other salons would charge much more for this service, and the nail specialists are very nice and accommodating. The salon is clean, comfy chairs, TVs, and many times they give you a free lotion! But he soaked it off & used the nail drill and it took forever to remove the gel polish on my toes. Nail drill bit was not sharp, cuticle cutter was not sharp, very dull materials ... also zero ventilation in the salon. Rubbing hot stones on ankle bones (yes directly on the bone) is painful and he did exactly that. Thankfully it was a very short massage ... which was a blessing in this situation but I feel it should have been a longer massage for a $60 service. He also painted on my Cuticle line, so it looks messy with gel polish. And didn't clean up the polish left on my skin. When I came back for a fill two weeks later, the owner demanded that I get a new set of acrylic nails because my natural nail underneath grew and was visible. I refused to pay $65 for a full set plus $20 for removal so I went to a different salon for a fill. When I was finally ready for a new set, I went back to the same technician and she disregarded my request to have thin, natural acrylic, created a mismatched shape and the nail polish was so old that it looked nothing like book sample. I called the salon 5 minutes after I left and asked for it to be redone. My nails looked horrible in natural light. The owner tried bullying me again and blamed me for being picky then said I could never come back to the salon. The whole experience was rather traumatizing and I spent $85. Ladies, there are better salons. The owner is quite stuck up and cruel. I will take my business elsewhere.

I have been getting my nails done for over 2 decades so I know that I said "full set with gel builder and a pedicure"multiple times when I was scheduling the appointment. Those are the services I get. I thought it was strange that only 3 people were working on a Saturday afternoon. The woman who was greeting customers kept going to talk to someone giving another customer a pedicure. (Full disclosure: I speak Spanish) I asked if there was a problem and she said she was going to start my nails. She cut my cuticles and filed my nail beds and then moved me to a pedicure chair because I was moving to get a pedicure. They moved me to a chair right next to someone and my keys, phone, and wallet needed to stay in my lap because the chairs were so close together only 1 side table could be up at a time. I was not shown a pedicure menu or asked what type of pedicure I wanted. At 2, my pedicure was done and I was told it was going to be longer until my nails were done. I decided I had enough and said just the pedicure is fine. They give a back massage through a plastic bag while your nails are drying. Will not be coming back.
