I got a rash while I was doing prolonged fasting called a ketosis rash and he said it was a heat rash, which no it isn't, I've been in the AC all week barely been outside not from heat at all, but he wouldn't listen. Said that my lighter skinned areas (I'm mixed black and white) were from a mold from the "heat rash." No that's called being mixed race I've had lighter toned areas from childhood as well as my siblings and other mixed race people I know. On my notes after my visit there were things on there I never said. Wanted to correlate my main problem, which is that I have a hard time eating due to gut issues, to the possibility of having endometriosis, which is a possibility but wouldn't do any of the testing I was hoping for for my stomach. He wrote totally false things I never said in the notes. Worst doctor yet.

Under Dr. Robeson's care, I've always been taken care of. Let's see how this visit turned out. I was able to check in 30 minutes early since I made to drive from Norfolk. Once I was called up, they were able to weight me in (lost 9 pounds since my last visit), give a urine sample (results were good) and have my blood pressure taken (lower than my last visit). Overall, the blood results were good. Dr. Robeson, my primary care, suggested for me to start taking Mounjaro which'll help with weight loss for diabetics (me included). Of course, I'll have to incorporate exercising and changes to eating meals since it'll make myself full fast with increasing doses. So I'll have to see how the process is going this coming November for an appointment. So far, I feel fine using the product. We shall see what happens going forward. Just like that, another great appointment here. They will continue to have me as a patient. Till next time :)

I received a call in November that I needed to repeat a lab, & when I asked which lab & why, I was told I would need to make an appointment (with Amanda Schaffer, PA) to find out. . I raised this issue with the office manager,Tammy. She did not really respond to this issue beyond acknowledging I SHOULD be able to get that information from the office. ⁣ NEXT I WAS TOLD I NEEDED AN APPOINTMENT TO GET A RENEWED PRESCRIPTION for a lifetime medication. I HAD ALREADY 1) had an appointment, 2) new blood labs were ordered specifically for a new prescription, 3) lab results are the basis for writing a prescription, THEREFORE, THE PCP IS ABLE TO RENEW THE PRESCRIPTION & HAS NO NEED FOR FURTHER PATIENT ASSESSMENT. NO FURTHER APPOINTMENTS REQUIRED. The 3rd time this office told me that I had to have an appointment was for a medicare annual exam. The week before my appointment I received numerous text and emails reminding me of my appointment. they even scheduled a Medicare Wellness appointment for the same day. the reminders gave instructions on what to bring to the appointment and to arrive 15 minutes before the appointment. they asked me to check in online. well the day of my appointment arrived an as I was preparing to leave my house I received a phone call telling me that my appointment had been cancelled. when I asked why they said they were no longer accepting Humana Insurance. I asked why they waited until an hour before the appointment time and the lies began. I have been using the insurance at Riverside for the last 3 years. Did they just stop using it at 9:am on the day of my appointment? I offered to pay for the visit in cash. she refused saying they couldn't take cash. No apology was offered for the last minute cancellation. just rudeness and even got the phone hung up on me because I was upset. this was handled poorly by the office staff. they let me know that they didn't care that I had an appointment and wanted to see a doctor for my health. It's amazing how people treat you when they think they are in charge.

She has been rude to myself, my husband, & my father for a year now & all 3 of us were patients. Not anymore. We will spend our hard earned money elsewhere. She has been absent AT BEST with my 89 yo father who has Dementia & she didn't even update his health records to show he has it. I asked her for his diagnosis for his physical therapist & she got nasty with me for asking & when I returned the attitude she told me she would no longer see my father because of MY behavior. My behavior? I only matched your tone Darcy. I didn't curse, I didn't yell, I didn't call you any names. I simply told you to go check your AI notes so that you could see that what you told me is what you told me because you are trying to deny saying things you've said. I'll NEVER go to this office again as long as she is employed there so you are losing not one but 3 patients over this.
