Greg/Albion Contacting was recommended to me through friends who knew a lot about renovating old…read morehouses. The first project was to repaint the entire interior. What I especially liked was that Greg acted as a design consultant with the colors. It is my first first home so I needed reassurance. His painting crew did a meticulous job with transforming my new home. The other big project was securing structures in my cellar which was also done very efficiently. I was apprehensive about buying an historic home, but I have great confidence in Greg and his team as we proceed with all that needs to be done. The other thing I like is that I don't have to research other tradesmen, ie electricians, plumbers etc. Greg has sources that he works with and so I know I am hiring the best. I highly recommend Albion.

The Albion Contracting crew recently completed a total renovation of our small full bathroom. We…read morewere very satisfied with the process from start to finish and the final result. Greg referred us to local flooring , tile and plumbing fixture vendors to help us make the right choices for the project. Throughout he kept on top of the status of the orders. Greg was very responsive throughout the job from estimate to finishing touches. He and everyone involved with the job were patient, competent, engaged and respectful to us and one another. Construction is never easy, but the job went smoothly with as little "fuss and muss" as possible. We hope to work with them again.

Ruy Barbosa is high off the charts in professionalism. He was responsive to our questions, and…read moreintuitive about our interests. He communicated with us throughout the project of installing a new Timberteck deck. His crew worked straight on through from start to finish without empty lapses of time. The men are so highly skilled. We continue to be happy with our beautiful deck. Therefore, we asked Ruy to install a Timberteck stair rail at our front doors, which also has withstood the test of time. We'd been concerned that installments like this would compromise the brick, whereby requiring a total rebuild, but a rebuild wasn't necessary. He also advise us on an easy and effective fix to divert water from flowing from the gutter and freezing to ice on those brick steps in winter. Based on the outcome of these projects, and our experience in their progression, we highly recommend this company.

Brutal experience with them back in 2022-2024. Would take weeks and, more than once, even months…read moreto get them to come back and do any work (see screenshots of my text interactions with them -- note the dates). They were supposed to build a new rubber roof. It started leaking on 3 separate occasions (which btw was never fully fixed -- we moved on to different contractors who did address the issues). And like I said, it would take months for them to actually come back and attempt to fix anything. Often they'd come by, look at the damage, then I wouldn't hear from them for multiple weeks. Meanwhile, more damage continues to accrue to the walls and ceilings. The internal fixes they applied for the water damage were just patch jobs. They just plastered and painted over. Meanwhile, the insulation behind the wall was soaked and accrued black mold that we had to address later. Also worth pointing out a major blunder at the beginning of the project (see attached videos and pics). They opened up the roof, and left it open for multiple days without doing any work. Well of course a major rainstorm came by (which was on the weather forecast well in advance). Alll that water poured into the house in the middle of the night setting off fire alarms. It was a nightmare to deal with on my end.
