Keystone Gardens Inc - Flower bed completed by Keystone Gardens

The work was sloppy and design was terrible. Look at the flowers planted directly at the edge of the driveway. Took 1 day for the delivery trucks to run these over. Additionally look at all the empty the bed looks. I will and would tell every person I know to NOT use this company. Earlier this year they charged me $1,500 for 1.5 hrs of fall cleanup.

We asked keystone (along with several other landscape contractors) to come out and give us some recommendations as to how best to fix things. In keeping with our budget they suggested (and ultimately wound up) killing everything and seeding a new lawn without completing tilling up the soil or laying down expensive new topsoil. They took a risk by doing this in the later spring (when we contacted them) and the first pass ultimately failed due to the unseasonably hot weather we had that year - very little grass growth (but no weeds). In the fall, they came back, repeated the process for no charge and offered us a discount on future services due to the amount we spent on water trying to get the grass to grow in the summer. The lawn flourished that fall and into the next year - we now have an AMAZING front yard. We have maintained an annual contract with them to continue servicing the lawn to make sure it stays the way it is now (which is WONDERFUL). We also had them plant a Cherry Tree (based on Travis' recommendation) and a line of Service Berry trees along the post and rail fence of our driveway. Another testament to their commitment - 2 of the service berry trees were having some issues, they came out - identified the problem (an insect infestation) applied the appropriate treatment and gave us guidelines as to how to care for them immediately and in the future. All of the Service Berries are thriving now and look beautiful (and my daughter loves eating the berries off the trees - as do I). Keystone takes a friendly, consultative and long term approach to developing solutions that have exceeded our expectations and helped us stay within our budget. Mia, Travis and Bob - you guys are the best - THANK YOU!!!

He responded quickly, respectfully and then scheduled his team to start within a few short weeks. The team, headed by Seth turned out to be another amazing part of EcoLandscapes - they are a friendly hardworking devoted group that knows the work and has a great deal of respect for the home owner's vision and needs. We worked closely each day checking on on the progress. The entire job was done with great care and is stunningly beautiful. I highly recommend that you take the time to meet with Daniel and allow him to help you figure out what it is that you really want for your property. He can do whatever it is that you want to create. and do it with perfection. Amazing

Dan is a creative, caring, and communicative business owner. His team, led by Seth, was an absolute pleasure to work with - they did a truly fantastic job and were so nice and helpful throughout. After they were done, we had a small issue with drainage (because right after they laid down the patio, there were torrential downpours for days, not allowing our pavers to settle). I'm not kidding when I say within five minutes of emailing Dan on a Friday evening to let him know, he called us to say he and Seth were coming over right away to take a look. Because of continued bad weather, they had to come back a few times over the next few weeks to make sure everything was good. Yes, they made our patio a little slice of heaven, but we were actually the most impressed with their post-project attentiveness and customer-focused desire to make everything right. Now we have a perfect space and can't wait to enjoy it over the summer! Highly, highly recommend!

I feel comfortable sitting outdoors away from a glance over the fence during the day. My husband and I can enjoy our outdoor space now as our 2nd family room with the lights. While it has been cool start to Spring, I am planning on setting up our solo firepit stove, under the ambience of the party lights strung above and surrounded by low voltage lights to provide safety and illumination without the airport runway feel. Who knows we may even get to roast marsh mellows with a glass of wine. All in the comfort of our own space where Doyle and McDonnell, Inc, designer and crew screened off our backyard from neighbors. I knew our yard was missing something but I couldn't put my finger on it. I look forward to our next project and I know who we are going to call. Thank you - Paula

D & M was the middle bidder on the job and I am very glad we engaged them. They provided superior quality plants, often a bit larger than specified by the landscape architect. Their installation crew was professional and the company's after care was exceptional. We planted some additional trees with them in 2013, and when the last two winters proved very harsh, Doyle & McDonnell was more than fair in helping us with replacements. I recommend them without hesitation. They also did a great job with our outdoor lighting.

We made an appointment for him to come out to our house in Wynnewood and look and give me some ideas with an estimate. It may not mean much to some, but he showed up exactly on time! Yes, on time, without a 2 hour window that many companies subject us to. In fact I saw him sitting in his truck out front for a few minutes before he rang the bell. He looked around the house and took copious notes. When he returned he showed me a number of ideas that could really make a difference. My wife and I had some specific ideas as to colors and locations of flowering plants and Alex incorporated them into his plan. He put down stone as a border in a number of places, planted a number of Azaleas and Rhododendrons, he suggested a Crepe Myrtle surrounded by 5 beautiful little accent flowering plants. We had a bit of drainage location problem and he was able to suggest a drainage system that his men implemented making a much more attractive and efficient system. He also included Spring Clean Up and mulching in his plan. He gave us an ala carte proposal that we could pick and choose from. His pricing was very reasonable and his execution of his plan was completed in one day. His men are knowledgable and good technicians and they clean up everything when they are done. I have no hesitation recommending Pat Calabrese & Sons Landscaping with 5 stars out of 5. Alex and his men were a pleasure to work with and I couldn't be happier with the work they did!! I get a new pleasure when I drive up to the house or walk around my back yard. I would give them 6 if I could.

When John Fridy came to meet in person and take a look at my front beds, I explained that I envisioned a pollinator destination that would grow into a lush garden in the years to come. John understood exactly what I was looking for, made an individualized plan, and returned - in person - with pictures of the plants he envisioned throughout my front walk. These included plants that would provide unique interest in the design process, were deer resistant, and would ensure something was in bloom throughout the spring and summer seasons. A few weeks later, he and his team of polite, careful, and professional individuals removed the existing shrubs and placed new shrubs and perennials, using healthy soils and mulch to ensure our new plants would thrive. The butterflies and birds are now all over my front yard! John is going to return in late fall to plant bulbs and is also coming back in the spring to make sure everything is growing beautifully and incorporate annuals. I could not be happier that I reached out to John and the Naturescapes team when I did. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. Call John and the Naturescapes team!
