It did not and unfortunately I did not find this out until I was well into my move. Total pain in the ass. The trucks are painted nice and are clean, BUT they are no frills. Bad technology. No blue tooth. No talk on your phone through the car speaker. No plugging in your phone to look a the maps, etc. I almost got in several accidents trying to look at the map on my phone that kept falling on the floor , as there is nowhere to put it. Fumbling around with my AirPods to talk on the phone. etc. Lack of current features made the long trip unpleasant and unsafe. When I called to complain, they were less than accommodating and bent over backwards to not help me. Whatever guys. I would rent elsewhere.

Next thing they tell you " equipment is inside with zip ties. If you pop the zip ties you will get charged". Cool is obvious, but in my case the items they were getting loaded in the truck were oversized and ended up popping the zip ties. They're also mats above the dolly which secure the dolly to prevent on moving. In order to use the dolly you have to remove the mat's. Meaning there's sign that dolly was not use. Who ever rent for here make sure you get a rental that has no equipment( if not needed). Also be careful with gas, apparently to them I didn't return the truck with the right gas range . They will get you with that. They want you to pump more than the actual range. Don't get fooled because is close to you. Find a location where things feel right!

Luckily I found one receipt and was refunded. I'm stuck with the other item since they refuse to take it back which is $5. I'm sure this post will cause this location to lose more then $5. I went to inspect it and the lift gate switch was intermittently functional and the passenger rear tire was missing chunks out on the exterior wall. The onsite team changed the tire and had to order a part for the lift gate to repair it. * 07/26/2024: The paperwork was finalized, and the tires and lift gate repairs were complete. I drove the vehicle from Phoenix, AZ to Tucson, AZ (100 miles) and the a/c was functioning intermittently and would not blow cold air. I drove it straight to the Penske in Tucson, AZ on 34th street and it was determined that it was a pound and a half low on freeon. I left my truck at Penske again on 7/26/24 and picked it up at 2:30pm on 7/27/24 * 07/27/2024: Picked up truck at 2:30pm from 34th Street location in Tucson. Went to load my equipment for my transition to Ohio and after getting 5 full pallets into the truck the lift gate stopped operating entirely. It was between 5-6pm in the evening so all the Penske offices were closed. I was told by the two service reps I spoke with (one was at NTP) that Penske would not cover any of this and that the additional insurance package I paid only operated Monday-Friday from 8am-8pm. I had to contact a third-party dealer (see attached receipt) who came out around 8pm that evening and worked on the truck until midnight. The repair guy completed an entire electrical diagnostic and found that a solenoid was tripping (you could hear it audibly); after 3-hours he found that the wire was crushed in the rail gate due to poor placement after new install of liftgate switch that occurred on 07/25/24 at Phoenix Penske. * 07/28/2024-08/01/2024 : Finalized loading my truck and hit the road only to find more defects within the truck. -Airbrake purges every 14 seconds when on freeway -Speedometer is off by 3mph -Between 68-70mph per speedometer the engine cuts off power, chugs and then re-engages. -Headlights do not fully switch off. We have found them on various times of the evening. -Toggle switch for headlight does not function. You have to toggle multiple times and step out of truck to see if lights are off. -Left headlight is not fixed properly; high left and vibrates all over the place -Truck might be possibly underpowered. 45mph is the max speed up any hills. -Liftgate has not been tested since I paid for the repair from a third-party technician but had to be repaired by Penske 2x in 48-hours. This truck was clearly not inspected to ensure that the vehicle was fully operational and functional prior to my departing the lot with it on 07/26/2024. Penske refused to take it back within the first 48-hours. I have phone and email records to show all of these complaints. As well as receipts because their warranty program is closed Friday at 5pm CST - Monday at 8am so no one can assist you on the weekend. The truck has also had to be serviced an additional 4-6x since we have had it. The warranty claims center does not believe in answering their phones and you must take it to one of their preferred providers after they receive your complaint, review if its covered (take the whole week off) and then they will assess what they deem is their financial responsibility. The repair centers do not specialize in everything so one center might do breaks, another tires and the other lift gate but this is the worst company to work with.

Our particular truck had some serious alignment and balance issues where at 45 mph you definitely could watch the whole dash move 6-10 inches sides to side. Kinda hard to drive a big truck with the wheel moving laterally that much. Overall pretty painless, just don't return the truck late night, lots of folks wandering around, can make you feel unsettled at times.
