I was blessed enough to start a successful career on my own but now I am looking to change directions and I find myself going through the job search process again. As anyone who is currently in the process of looking for their next position knows, this is not a fun activity. I thought back to my experience with staffing agencies and I was reluctant to go down that avenue again. I am thrilled that I did. I applied for a job that I was interested in and was called by Theophany Staffing for an interview. I went with low expectations but was absolutely blown away. I had the pleasure of being interviewed and coached by Erika S. She went far beyond the roll of a recruiter and had me extremely well prepared for interviews. She took the time to go over my background and concisely highlight my career path to best speak to the employer I was targeting. She followed up with me often and kept me informed through the entire process. So many people on here say, "I wish I could rate less than one star but they force you to use one." I wish they had a way to rate more than five stars. Erika would deserve an extra star. If you are checking reviews on staffing companies, you are probably job searching. I would highly recommend Erika and Theophany Staffing.

From the moment I arrived there, the setup was strange where there's a conjoined round table consisting of all Caucasian women. I came in for my interview on time, but I had to wait until they finished their group discussions about other people that they have interviewed which could have been discussed when I wasn't there. During the hour-long interview, I can't help but notice that this agency is "religion-based" (Evangelical Christian). I am a practicing Catholic, but I felt that we should be focusing more on my skills, professional/educational backgrounds, and potentials. It was so cringy as I felt like I was getting recruited to be a part of a ministry or cult. Also, I felt so uncomfortable getting interviewed while there are several conversations going on in the background. I tried to follow up with two of their associates and I never heard back from them which is a blessing in disguise as I would have not been a good fit and I personally wouldn't be happy in the long run. In all honesty this is not a reputable agency, and the Department of Labor should probably look into their practice. For someone who has a background in Human Resources, in my opinion, an agency should practice fairness and equity and Theophany Staffing missed the mark.

My…read morehusband and I have been doing our own taxes the last few years, but they got more complicated over time so we knew we needed to use a professional tax firm. We tried using a different tax firm a handful of years ago and they were very expensive, especially for how simple our taxes were back then, and they filed everything via paper and the mail. TicTax made everything easy. Thaddeus completed everything so quickly, he sent everything to us for electronic signature and did the e-filing, took the time to listen to our concerns and answered all questions we had in an easy to understand manner, and he was so thorough with all our tax filing information. The price was also fantastic and very reasonable! Plus they offer discounts for family members! We are very pleased with Thaddeus and TicTax Accounting services and will definitely be using them again every year. Thaddeus has also taken extra time following tax filing season to help us review and provide guidance on updating our withholding so we don't owe next year. Fantastic experience!

I hired this company to perform a deep clean on the house I was moving into--an empty home that should have been one of the easiest cleaning jobs possible. Unfortunately, they completely failed to deliver. There were crumbs left inside the kitchen cabinets, dust remained on virtually every surface throughout the house, and overall it appeared as though many areas had not been cleaned at all. What was even more disappointing was the lack of accountability from the owner, Debra. When I contacted her and requested that a crew be sent back promptly to correct the issues, she was unaccommodating and rude. When that request was not fulfilled, she also refused to provide any refund for the poor-quality work. As someone who works in the service industry, I find this level of service unacceptable. I expect businesses to stand behind their work and make things right when they fall short. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I will not be using this company again and cannot recommend them to others.
