Getting blood drawn has always been nerve-racking for me, so I walked in feeling pretty nervous and a little confused (the location is a bit tricky to find--it's inside a larger office building upstairs). That said, once you're inside, the signs are clear and it's easy to navigate. I walked out of my appointment with the biggest smile on my face thanks to Nanh Lam, who was my technician. She made sure I felt comfortable from start to finish. * She used a different needle to make the draw more comfortable * She was warm, friendly, and talkative, which really helped calm my nerves * She was extremely skilled--I've had painful experiences before, including a collapsed vein, so I know the difference! * Her care and confidence made me feel completely at ease Nanh truly changed my experience. I'm in fairly good health and that is due to annual checkups based on the results of the lab work. I've been to this particular LabCorp. Making an appointment is what I do and LabCorp is quick to respond with following status of the lab day. Instructions are clear and as in my case the lady behind the counter made sure everything was in order after scanning the bar code. The lab-order clearly indicated Fasting and I nodded positively. The flabotomist called my name and it took her just a few minutes to draw the multiple vials of my blood sampling from the left arm. Done, now with a bandaid around the needle mark she gave me a cup with instructions... Yikes.... LabCorp sure was an easy and pretty quick experience. The location is convenient, enough parking, clean building and a professional staff. The results of the various tests will help me to continue being healthy. read more

Today my dad went in for some tests and the old man at the front desk was extremely EXTREMELY RUDE TO HIM! Completely unacceptable! My dad came in and told him he had an appointment and handed him his insurance card and the man asked him what insurance he had and my dad told him that it was all on the card. The man seemed upset and yelled back but what's your insurance. My dad then repeated that it was on the card. The man got upset and yelled "No, what's your insurance!" At this point my dad was shocked at how he was speaking to him. He continuously threw paperwork to my dad as well as his license. I don't understand how this man is still working here. Finding the office can be a bit tricky due to the code lock on the door. I didn't realize the door was unlocked until I saw another person walk in. Once inside, I tried to check in using the express kiosk. I had heard about the front office person, Mr. David P, from the previous yelp reviews, so I wanted to avoid being a bother. However, he kindly informed me that there are two areas where you can check in. I encountered a small issue because I didn't have my physical insurance card on me. I usually have a primary care physician, but Mr. David P assured me that it wasn't a problem as long as I knew my insurance number. He quickly cross-referenced the number on my mobile insurance card with the information on the doctor's order. I waited for about five minutes and was pleasantly surprised by how quickly he called my name, especially because I was a walk-in. It seemed that many people with appointments had not yet checked in, which might explain why I was seen so fast. I tend to get nervous about having my blood drawn, but Mr. David P was efficient, and it didn't hurt at all, which was amazing! I highly recommend this location and encourage you to try it for yourself instead of relying solely on reviews. Its insane what a little kindness can do. read more

Do not ever come here! The minute I got there no one spoke English and rude. The old guy I think his name was David P or something with the last initial P. Put the needle so far in and was moving it around inside. I'm not no medical person but I don't think you're suppose to do that. I started feeling REALLY dizzy where I felt like my ears were blocked and I was getting hot and it was blurry I told him to stop and went to the bathroom I felt like I couldn't see. I called my OB she advised me not to finish so I went and told him and he got mad and frustrated that he couldn't finish drawing my blood. I went home read the reviews on this place and everyone is saying the same thing about this guy. Don't ever go here. read more

This location is by far the best in this area! And the waiting area isn't too full it's especially important to be mindful during flu season. Checking in is easy, it's best to schedule an appointment but note that fasting times may be booked out a couple of weeks. read more

Based off the reviews and how hard it was to get an appointment at any of the labcorp locations I wasn't expecting much. However I was pleasantly surprised. My appointment was at 830 am. Checked in before 8am. The waiting area was empty, u was greeted and helped by the front desk person which coming from quest I wasn't expecting or use to. She was nice. I was called back before sitting down. I was all done and back in my car by 815am. Great experience. read more

I went in today for routine bloodwork and was appalled at the service from the man working the front desk. I came a little early for my appointment and tried to give my paperwork to the man working the front (I can't remember his name) but he just redirected me to the kiosk to check in. This was odd but I still held on to my paperwork until I was called. I waited almost an hour for them to call me, watching as this man was talking to all customers the same way as me and treating them with no respect. The phlebotomist finally intervened and asked about my appointment. She wanted my paperwork and tried to get the man to get me checked in, I thought I already was? And he just stared at me and gave me no direction whatsoever. Like I was supposed to read his mind. Anyways, my phlebotomist was lovely and she was quick and friendly. I've been to many LabCorp locations over the years for lab work and always had positive experiences--until I came to this location at 8341 Westminster Blvd, Suite 204. This visit was absolutely unacceptable, and I left feeling disrespected and frustrated. The man at the front desk (badge said David, mid-aged Vietnamese gentleman) was shockingly rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional from the moment I walked in. He didn't greet me or acknowledge me at all--just acted like I was a burden. I explained I had a new lab order from my doctor that needed to be added, something I've done at other LabCorp locations without issue. He refused to help, said it didn't have the doctor's phone number or address, and wouldn't even check the system to verify. I offered to show him the info on my phone, and he demanded it be handwritten--even though he could've cross-referenced it himself. While I was writing, he openly spoke about me in Vietnamese to the other front desk staff, clearly annoyed, which was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. His English was poor, yet he acted like I didn't know what I was doing. I work in the medical field myself--and the way he treated me was unacceptable for any patient, let alone a healthcare worker trying to follow instructions. He acted superior, unhelpful, and cold. When I asked if I was all set, he completely ignored me. I asked again, and he just waved me away. I honestly would not trust this man to draw my blood, handle my paperwork, or speak to another patient. He has no business working in a healthcare setting where empathy and professionalism matter. Thankfully, the phlebotomist who actually drew my blood was professional, kind, and helpful. She even found the provider info in the system that he claimed wasn't there. She did her job well, but this front desk guy ruined the entire experience. LabCorp needs to seriously reconsider who they allow to represent their name. I am absolutely appalled by the way I was treated here. I am 28 weeks pregnant and had to schedule a glucose tolerance test. I was able to schedule my appointment for 2:30. I arrived at 2:30 checked in on my phone and waited to be called in. It was now 3. So I went inside the building and sat down waiting for this man who kept staring at me behind the desk to ask .. "can I help you?" So I said "Hi I have been waiting to be seen I am checked in and had an appointment at 2:30 for glucose." The man at the front was an absolute A-HOLE. He laughed at me and said "No no there is no time for your tests." I drove 20 minutes out here to be told there is no time for my appointment that I had scheduled. He was so blunt and rude. I asked "why would I be scheduled for 2:30?" And he kept saying "No. no time. We close." And kept laughing at me. So unprofessional and so RUDE. Will not be coming back to this lab corp. stupid! read more

My drs office recently switched from Quest to Labcorp. And it was the worst decision ever. Beside the fact they don't offer early appointments like Quest does, their office and experience is also the worst. There is not enough seating space. It's dirty. The staff is unorganized. I was called 3 times to check in AFTER I had already checked in on the kiosk (added my insurance and all) . I looked at the screen to see if I was almost next, because they have a screen that looks like quest. But apparently it's not used to see who's next. This was absolutely the worst experience ever.
