Was treated very rudely and I had to reschedule on the fly ended up rescheduling at this Fredericksburg location and it is night and day! The waiting room is nicer, the people are nicer, the process was nicer, it was just all around and incredible experience, especially when you compare it to the nightmare scenario that I had earlier today.

There's no need for me to stand around for 40 minutes to hand over a sample, when a box would do just nicely. If there was a locked box where I could drop off a sample, I wouldn't have to put up with all the BS that this company provides. People in scrubs hurriedly rush in and out the door of this place, but they can't be bothered to ask a question. "Check in at the computer" is all they can offer. Forget these guys.

She was just getting to the food & activity improvement when we were told that she found a new opportunity more suited to her desired future. We would not want to stand in her way, but she is SORELY MISSED! The food has been based on cheap & overused oil. Nothing can overcome the nasty oil being used! The protein is limited to mixer of meat, bone, & grizzle that ruins every dish. Occasionally there are suspect cuts of real meat with little relation to real meat. Most often the facility depends on slices of heavily processed meat rolls. The people cooking have no sense of how to season the food! There's far too much of chili powder & coriander, to the point that we can't consider eating the poorly seasoned compositions. A superior chef is sorely needed! The activities were exceptional with Jessica Trevino. Jessica was pushed to do the job of at least 2 people, which ruined activities. The new activity director has been given far more support from CNAs, but Jessica contributed wonderful food & activities above & beyond what is currently provided.

Staff were professional, fast, and very nice. I was a walk in and was seen I'm 5 minutes to gets labs drawn. I liked the self check in on the iPad when you walk in. I liked how on the TVs it says a list of patients by the 1st 3 letters of 1st name and 1st letter of last name in order of who is next and approximately how long the wait is. Since this is located in medical area, next to the hospital parking and traffic are really bad here. Plan for more time when coming to this location.

Not very patient friendly. I have had 2 general health exams and scheduled to have my third. My physician had ordered me to get a few blood test as well as a urinalysis. I went to my scheduled appt at the lab and was confronted with their request to give them access to my credit/debit card in case my medicare and supplemental insurance were to refuse payment for the tests requested by my physician . They then had me sign a document that says I refused the tests. Mind you I was not able to read the document before being handed the signature pad to sign. When I was handed me a copy of the document it read that I refused the test. I did not refuse the test. What I did refuse to do was to hand the cart blanche to charge my debit/credit card "in case my health insurance" refused payment. This is again another way the health of the patients is not the driving force of health care in Texas. It is to make money.

Check-in was easy, the lady was nice and the radiology tech was even nicer. My appointment was at 1:40 but they said to arrive at 1:25. I arrived around 1:20 and I didn't wait long at all. In fact, I was done a little after 1:40. The tech explained everything thoroughly and positioned my hand while we made small talk about the x-ray flower art on the walls. When I checked out I informed the same lady who checked me in that I had a referral to a hand doctor. I handed her my phone so she can clearly get the details and said she can send my results to both my Airrosti doctor and the specialist. She must have done something right because the specialist's office called on Monday to schedule an appointment. I thanked her and went on my way. There was a second lady who didn't seem to be in as chipper a mood, but I made sure to say goodbye and thank you to her, too, and she brightened up. Overall it was a pleasant, quick experience.
