Very slow and unresponsive. Trying to be quick by not attending to customers is not a good philosophy.

They assisted kindly when there was a mix up with my doctor office faxing in the order for my blood draw.

I've been there twice. Very easy to make appointments online. Good reminders via text messaging…read more Website presents results nicely. Parking is free and plentiful. Both times, the phlebotomists were very good. No pain, didn't mind my questions, and were cheerful. For multiple blood draws and urine sample, I was out in less than 15 minutes. Hit or miss on the wait time. Last year, I waited a long time. This year (2025), there was no wait. They've managed to automate almost everything - which is good and bad. They don't even have a receptionist to call you in to the lab. The phlebotomists themselves came in to the waiting room and call your name - which is nice. But I don't like that the front desk doesn't even have a receptionist. Shockingly, they don't have wifi so I skipped the mobile-phone check-in and used their check-in machine which worked well and even understood that I had a secondary insurer. On the downside, once in the lab, the phlebotomist asked me to sign more forms. I hate last minute forms that I'm under pressure to sign quickly. Why couldn't I do this when I made the appointment? The most annoying form was for a credit card just in case insurance didn't pay. I found that disconcerting. But then she said it wasn't required. (So why bother?) Perhaps I'm being overly picky so I'll generously give 4 stars.

Easy to find, plenty of parking, great staff and efficient!…read more I made an appointment online and was able to check-in on my phone without having to go to the desk or use the kiosk. The staff are pretty efficient in that I was probably in and out in about 20 minutes. My particular phlebotomist was friendly and gentle.

I've now been a patient for over five years with Dr. Jagr. Had two colonoscopies and an endoscopy with him. Their facilities are so nice and the nurses and staff are top notch. Like their location off Shady Grove Road Don't delay a colonoscopy when you hit 45-50 age range. The prep work sucks but it can save your life!

This review is for CRNP Kelly Mercado (January 2026)…read more I consider myself very fortunate to be under Kelly's care for five years now. She is extraordinarily smart, knowledgeable in medical matters, and a great communicator who combines high-quality medical care with personal touches. She is always reassuring and easy to talk to, and she has never let me down by responding to my emails quickly and providing a listening board every time my digestive issues flareup. In the five years I have known her, she is consistently prompt, professional, and efficient in managing my digestive prescriptions and in addressing any of my medical concerns. Kelly never lets me down when I need her assistance. I see multiple doctors for various health reasons, and none of them are as supporting as Kelly has been to me. I am so thankful to have her as my primary gastroenterologist because I know I can always count on her every time. I highly recommend Kelly and Capital Digestive Care for your digestive health.

As a registered nurse, I'm…read morea harsh critic, and I can personally attest to Bill's in-home phlebotomy skills and expertise. He is punctual, kind, communicative, and efficient. Over the years, he has drawn complex, highly specialized labs for me, and each time I've had full confidence that it was drawn accurately. The lab results have validated that each time. Finally, I have such peace of mind knowing that Bill will ship my labs each time, ensuring proper temperature control, adequate documentation, and protective equipment in place.I

Bill was my go-to in-home phlebotomist for over a year. When you are able to reach him, he is…read moreexcellent -- skilled, gentle, friendly, good aseptic technique, and professional during the blood draw. He wears an N95 mask, and the overall experience has always been smooth. He was also very understanding about the fact that my health conditions can flare unpredictably, which meant I occasionally needed to reschedule at the last minute. He was usually quick to respond to texts or emails about scheduling. My last blood draw with Bill was in September 2025. Labcorp said that frozen plasma samples for two tests in the large order were missing, so I emailed and then texted Bill to see if he could confirm drop-off or whether they just needed to be redrawn. I honestly assumed it was a Labcorp error. After two weeks, he let me know he was out of the country for a few months without reliable cell coverage. I gave him grace because I know he is in high demand and the circumstances were extenuating. I had the blood redrawn by another phlebotomist and planned to continue booking with Bill once he returned. Since then, I have tried to book new blood draws via text, phone, or email, but Bill has not responded. Google reviews indicate that he has completed recent appointments and responded quickly to schedule, so it doesn't seem like he's still out of the country. For homebound patients like myself who rely on mobile phlebotomy for care, this lack of predictability can be challenging. It would be really helpful to have clearer communication about his availability -- for example, an out-of-office email auto-reply, an updated voicemail greeting, or a note on his website indicating whether he is currently accepting appointments and the best way to reach him. Overall, Bill provides 5-star high-quality care when reachable---- the only limitation has been the difficulty reaching him and uncertainty about availability. I've been trying to book with him again and would really like to continue working with him if he sees this! I hope he is able to reconnect.

He had a sweet accent when he spoke that made me think he might be Russian or Eastern European. The last part was the thing in the nose. That was so uncomfortable. And he hooked it up as gently as possible. Bill, the morning guy who took over was friendly and even patiently listened while I told stories and recounted my dreams, some of which were quite wild. Getting attacked by human size pink flamingos. Lauren was cute when I met her in the lunchroom. She had a black hat with kitty ears. We had a friendly conversation. Later in the day, when I left, she saw (and thought) that I had forgot my laptop and she was going to run after me and try to catch me. The next day when I called back to get information about how my bill had been calculated, I got Lauren again. She is so friendly and sweet. It was a joy to talk to her. And she explained very patiently and very well how the cost of the sleep study had been calculated based on my insurance. I recommend American sleep. At my most recent appointment, she opened with, "Someone made a mistake when they scheduled your appointment," which was unprofessional and completely unnecessary. She also commented, "He will never do that again!" I felt as though he might get fired because of me. So, I told her that we are entitled to make mistakes, it's our human nature, right? Her comment immediately created tension throughout my visit, to me, she didn't seem to consider how her words might affect someone already dealing with health concerns. There has also been a recurring tone in her interactions that makes me feel as though my care isn't worth her time or that I'm not paying "enough" for her service. Patients should not walk away from a visit feeling dismissed or judged while seeking medical care. It is clear to me she needs to learn or relearn basic bedside manners and rethink how she communicates with the people she is supposed to be caring for. Respect, empathy, and professionalism are not optional in healthcare, and I hope she takes this feedback seriously.
