DO NOT GO HERE. I came in with my husband for a routine blood draw. We left with a hematoma the size of a large gumball on his arm. VERY painful. She had zero skill, no bedside manner, literally seemed to not care about hurting patients. When we showed them the large lump at the front desk, the practitioner then said "large hematoma, totally normal, google it." We said that we've had blood draws for decades and never seen anything like this - she said 'totally normal. google it.' while the receptionist took one look and went and got him an ice pack to put on it. Based on our experience, and the other reviews, this person should not be caring for patients, and certainly not allowed to draw blood. read more

This is my regular lab. I know the kiosk check-in drill, so no surprises. Reception rep was very professional and a skilled multitasker. I always (kindly) alert the phlebotomist that my veins are nearly nonexistent, to prevent either of us from getting discouraged. They proceed with heightened attention. Julisa was outstanding! She got a vein with one try and painlessly withdrew 5 vials of blood (so many labs requested!). For the first time in years, I was left with NO bruising!! Many thanks to Julisa! read more

Why didn't I read the reviews about this place? It was efficient but unpleasant. My "nurse" spoke to me in single word orders full of irritation that I was in her world...when she spoke at all. At one point she simply jabbed her finger at the armrest to indicate I was supposed to put my arm out. She jabbed me with anger at her own life choices working for this horrible company. She shoved paperwork at me at the front desk, got into the room and said, "PAPERWORK!" then when I was done, "DONE." Then I asked, "do I get the paperwork back?" and she said, "IT'S OURS!" and walked out. read more

Very Bad experience. They are not helpful-- lot of language barriers. I was provided with incorrect information regarding adding on a test to an existing specimen. I was told that only a provider could call to modify a particular order and was given the main number. I took the initiative to call myself and the person on the other line was equally oblivious and said that the tests could not be performed because it was not the right container- however upon pointing out that it was indeed a sterile white top container she kept saying I'm going to let the doctor know the test cannot be performed. There's nothing I appreciate more than an abrupt and distracted phlebotomist when blood is being removed from my body. It is also incredibly calming to know that far more attention is paid to my payment method and insurance coverage than to actually reading the script laying out their vampiric roadmap. And... My husband just had blood taken here. The woman did not know what she was doing! Stuck him, drew a little blood, TOOK NEEDLE OUT! Stuck him again! Said "slow slow". Drew a little more. TOOK NEEDLE OUT AND LOOKED AT IT! Stuck him again. Took my husband's vial of blood to receptionist "Is this right. Is enough?" Came back and said to him,"Put ice put ice" My god. So unqualified would be laughable if my husband didn't come home with a tourniquet around arm and in pain. HIRE QUALIFIED PEOPLE or shut this place down!! read more

Labcorp Ewing St Princeton - Have been going to this facility at this location for many years and always had a positive experience despite my needle phobia. Today, the morning of April 1, 2024, I had the most painful blood draw that I have ever had in my life. The phlebotomist said it was because I was tense - really? Does that explain the quantity of blood that soaked straight through the 1/2 inch wad of gauze that she taped onto my arm?!!!! That too, is a first experience for me, horrible and unnecessary if you know how to draw blood, which this person clearly does not! If this is the way this facility will be staffed, I will not be returning; it's bad enough that the hours have been slashed and the original staff has been replaced. read more

When my child was in the bathroom for 5 minutes and cannot get a sample, they asked us to leave (!). They said we cannot try again. They gave us the cup and said just drop it off later. Receptionist sticked a needle in my vein and in there she was poking around. And couldn't get blood so another needle. She did a number on me. Wow how is this place open? Why hasn't any regulatory agency shut this place down. There was one person working there who was rude, swearing, yelling at every patient that came in. An obnoxious miserable human being. I came in for a blood test and that same lady went full mass murderer and stabbed my arm five different places and yelled at me for my veins not having blood. I would like to commend Amparo Calix of the Princeton, NJ (Ewing Ave) Labcorp for her exceptional skill, abilities and compassion. I have a 29 year old low-functioning son with autism who can become aggressive when getting bloodwork. Amparo's skill when drawing his blood is amazing. She is so quick and painless he will just utter a whimper and then she is done. She puts him at ease by talking to him and massaging his arm before she draws the blood. She makes sure he is relaxed before she starts the process. She is a gem and I drive past several other Labcorps (closer to my house) to come to her because she does such an exceptional job. Amparo is a caring and dedicated professional who deserves recognition and praise. read more

This place has improved a lot in appearance in the last year or so. It is no longer depressing. They have online check in as you arrive. The staff is friendly the bathroom has been updated and is clean and cheerful. I've been going there for years and I can see that the company has invested money in painting and upgrading the facility. And the staff is nice. I recommend Renee. read more

Avoid this lab at all cost! I have been coming here for a few years because I live close by, and in those years the staff have consistently been rude, incompetent and dismissive of patient concerns. For our most recent visit, we made an appointment at 8:45 for my high school aged son so that he wouldn't miss too much school. Two minutes after we got there the receptionist left her desk and didn't come back for half an hour. There was no way to ask anyone what was going on, until she came back at 9:15 -- half an hour after our appointment. At that point I suggested that we could come back another time, since the idea of having an early appointment was to avoid having my son miss too much school time -- but I asked that we get a doctor's note to explain his lateness. She refused, and instead said we would have to wait to get the blood drawn that morning to get a doctor's note. We waited another half hour before they finally did the blood work, so instead of an 8:45 appointment, we did not get seen until 9:45. I understand that sometimes they are understaffed, but to have them also be rude and angry, and to be unhelpful when a patient asks to reschedule, is unacceptable. If they know they are understaffed and can't honor the appointments, they should let patients know so that they can make an informed choice of whether to reschedule or not. I will never ever go back to this lab; I would rather drive to another lab rather than have to take the receptionist's abuse ever again. read more

I came into the office to get some blood work done. I asked the receptionist if they received a request from my doctor. She was very rude and said that I needed a physical note requesting blood work. She was annoyed that she had to look through my files. She looked at me and said, "you can't just walk up in here and demand things." I was very confused. The receptionist and the nurses that work there are extremely ghetto and rude. I guess anyone can qualify for that job. There was only one nurse there that was nice. I REALLY hate this place. PAINFUL test by MISERABLE people. You check in using a digital check in system. No one at the window has any interest in speaking to you before you register and scan your insurance card and driver's license. A bunch of signs are posted with arrows so you don't dare try to speak to anyone first. You sit and wait to be called back. The LabCorp person checks your prescription and displays a general lack of civility or friendliness. You then wait in a small room where the person comes to take your blood. I have been to this location at least 5 times and each time blood has been painfully drawn. The most recent time I requested a butterfly smaller needle. The woman said "No, you'll be fine with what I use." She then proceeded to stick me several times with a larger needle and had difficulty because the needle was TOO large. Finally she found a blood vessel and continued to press and move the needle around during a draw of six vials. Very mean and VERY painful blood testing. Thankfully my doctor now has their own person in office. This LabCorp location on Ewing Street in Princeton is full of bad attitude and painful testing. Today I went to the office at Franklin Corner Rd. and was very pleased with the service received. No waiting, no pain. The patient that came in after me was processed first. When I asked them what order they were processing patient's they had no reply. Rude staff and inaccurate hours. Woke up on a Saturday to get blood work since all their other hours are extremely inconvenient and was met by a sign on the door saying saturdays appointments only. Would have been nice to know while I was trying to find the one place that actually has available hours. I even tried to make an appointment and the website wouldn't show anything for the months June through August. There is no way there is not one appointment available for the next 3 months. But without even being greeted I was asked if I had an appointment. I explained no but it wasn't advertised and that's the only way I could get my blood work done. She told me she took too many walk ins before so now she's backed up. You couldn't take one more? And why didn't you turn them away but you'll turn me away if you're so strict with this appointment only policy that no one would know unless they showed up. So now after driving half an hour there, I have to drive another half hour to a different location that also didn't advertise that they accept walk ins on saturdays. Would have gone there from the getgo. Really frustrating. Labcorp needs to be open later, needs a better appointment scheduling system, and needs to have ACCURATE hours posted online. read more

It was really disgusting because the phlebotomist drew my blood bare-handed. It was disgusting and gross. It made me think that she would make me sick. She touches other sick people all day and deals with blood, and doesn't wear gloves like others do. I hope no one caught my sicknesss from after she touched me. read more

I am a breast cancer survivor and I have been to labs more times than I can count. I am a very strong person and have had lots of doctors and medical procedures that were not pleasant but this was by far the very worst experience I have ever had at any lab or doctor. Besides the facility looking very unclean, the staff was unfriendly and the phebotomists were unskilled. They stuck me multiple times and they were never able to actually get the blood sample the doctor ordered. Granted my veins are few and far between after having been through chemotherapy but seriously! They were so unkind, impatient, unapologetic, and extremely unprofessional. Never again! read more
