However, I was amazed with the phlebotomist I saw (I did not get his name, but I do know that the technichian/phlebotomist that I saw was an African-American male). He understood that I had Autism, was a needle phobic and preferred a hand vein (for me, hand veins are not as painful as the traditional arm/inner elbow, even though it stings a little more).
