We weren't sure what Highmark PCP would cover, said $15 for PCP but nothing for urgent care. Turns out it was only $15 for the urgent care as well. At the time we came there were only a couple people in the waiting room. We didn't have to wait too long. It was a a pleasant experience and we will continue to go back!

But everyone there was great from the front desk to the X-Ray tech, all very warm and helpful. Dr. Schmidt was able to give me answers in a short time, and even better able to treat all my issues with success. I would recommend this facility to anyone needing immediate care for something. Even with no appointment and a emergency crying kid, I didn't really wait that long, and once I got in, everything moved right along. Definitely 5 stars!

Call center cancelled my appointment the morning of via text message, Reason: Dr. had family emergency. When I was finally able to reach some one with the authority to reschedule me I was told the best they could do would be 12/24 or 12/26. Three months after my original appointment was cancelled!!!!!! BTW...my husband was able to see the same doc I had been scheduled with...he told her of my experience...she denied that she had cancelled any appointments and had not had any family emergency that kept her from work. She promised she would look into it. I am so deeply concerned and saddened by the change in management . This had been a top of the line practice since it opened. No longer true.

Tried to refill a prescription, did not understand what that was. Why are you calling? because Penn Med at VF does not accept calls from Drug stores, mail order drugs, etc. Silence. These people do not know ANYTHING about you or Penn's policies. Their equipment is so bad you can barely hear them. They put you on hold, you can hear them answer other calls, and put THEM on hold. Be prepared for a long wait for calls to be answered: 50 minutes. If you set up a call back, it is ignored. It's a shame to put this here, since this is Pennmed Corporate. But as a corporation, rest assured Penn medicine is making sure that profits are #1 and does not care one bit if you find another doctor.

This was fully explained upon scheduling and a lengthy conversation was had regarding this with the woman who scheduled it. I was in the office yesterday to pick up his Barium Sulfate...which was given to him because he was having a ct scan WITH dye. I again had a lengthy conversation with the woman who scanned his slip into the computer which clearly noted he was having a ct scan WITH dye. She explained all directions regarding the use of the liquid since he was having a ct scan WITH dye. Also, when I picked up his liquids yesterday I was told the ct scan was not working. Someone arrived while I was there to repair it. They woman at the desk said they would call us later that evening to let us know if all was good and my husband could come for his appointment. They did not call. I had to call them and leave a message wondering what was going on. They called me this morning and confirmed that his appointment was on and the ct scan was working. So I'm assuming they would have to look in the computer at that point and observe he was scheduled for a ct scan WITH dye. When he arrived and checked in, he overhead the workers scrambling and discussing that he couldn't have his procedure done. They were very unprofessionally discussing it as if he wasn't even in the room. They finally, after 20 minutes, advised my husband that the person who scheduled listed it without dye and there was no doctor on site to administer the dye. They said he'd simply have to reschedule or go somewhere else. He asked where else could he go and they said they didn't know, MAYBE a hospital like Chester County. This is infuriating to say the least. My husband had to drink copious amounts of disgusting fluid. He had horrible cramping and diarrhea. He hadn't eaten since the night before. I feel he received terrible treatment and the staff acted very unprofessionally. We most certainly will NOT be rescheduling here, and I will be sure to let anyone know not to go there. I will be posting this review on Yelp and anywhere else I can. The fact is they had multiple conversations with me, confirmed multiple times, scanned his prescription, described how the procedure would work (WITH DYE) and then basically tells him too bad when he shows up. I had to beg the girl at the front to even talk to me. I was very sick. I have had those symptoms before, and I knew that there was a problem. I had a fever, chills, and many other feelings which made me think that I had the same sickness from before. I even left work early. I never do this. The staff began to rush me through my initial paperwork by saying "are you finished yet"? I was then quickly rushed into the examination room. The doctor, Dr. Meyers, a pleasantly plump female who wasn't pleasant at all; looked at me for less than a minute. She then said "There's nothing I can do for you. If you get worse, go to the hospital". I begged her for antibiotics. She told me "no": I knew I had this sickness before and needed antibiotics fast. I was then brought discharge paperwork. Dr. Meyers told me to sign it so she could go home. I told her I am sick and begged one more time for medication. She told me to go to the hospital again. I then asked for my $87 co-pay back. The fraud Doctor told me she can't give me my money back even though she told me she "wouldn't help me". Then, I told her to stick the discharge paperwork up her ass. I did not sign it, and began to walk out. I was practically chased out of the waiting room, as they told me to get back here and sign my discharge paperwork. After having the worst medical experience of my life, I canceled the $87 charge on my credit card. The next day, I went to Temple Hospital because my symptoms got worse. The Doctors there are pros. They told me I could have died if I didn't get the proper treatment. Temple is amazing. They save lives, and definitely saved mine. Pioneer, on the other hand, just wants collect money without abiding to duty to act.

The office was very clean, up to date equipment and services from what I could see. The staff was very nice and professional for the most part. I thought some of them were a little casual for my taste. Some of the conversations that were going on in ear shot didnt seem like the kind of stuff that should be discussed around customers/patients. Other than that I was pleasantly surprise at the care and speed. I had to get chest x rays. They did them right on sight, wrote me a script, sent it electronically to my pharmacist and called me with the results of my x ray before i had even gotten home. So definitely happy with the overall experience.

I now see Dr Costabile, my husband sees him and my son who is mentally challenged sees him. We were all once Dr. Lawler's patients. I never thought we would find someone as good, kind and caring as Dr. Lawler. We had our first visit. I was immediately impressed. I never saw Dr Costabile before that that day.. I was amazed at how he was aware of my health history, listened to me and my concerns. He must have reviewed my complete medical files. He talks as if he had known me and been my Dr for years! He never hesitates when he thinks I need an x-ray or MRI or anything extra. As I said, my son is mentally challenged. At times he can be a bit much. He doesn't like change but he was very comfortable with Dr Costabile. He is very good with him very empathetic and understanding. I would highly recommend Dr Costabile to anyone. I had thought that if I didn't like the new doctor, I would switch to someone near where I live, we used to live in KOP. We now live in Lansdale so it's a little drive for us however , I was so impressed with Dr Costabile. We decided to stay with him. The ride is well worth it. I can't say enough about how wonderful Dr Costabile is. I so appreciate his professionalism knowledge and kindness. Also the staff there is amazing. Very welcoming and helpful!
