They were at the house before i got there all ready to go. They explained every step of the process thoroughly and made sure I understood if there were any issues what i would be seeing in the report. They made suggestions where they could of things they would fix or improve if it were their home. I loved that I was purchasing an old home and Gene has a lot of expertise in this area. He was so excited to do the inspection and talk about improvements it was like he was a part of the family he was just as excited about our home as we were. My 6 year old daughter tagged along on the inspection and they were so patient with her. They chatted with her about what color she would paint her room and all the renovations that the little boss had planned lol. Upon leaving they made sure to let us know to contact them if we have any questions or need recommendations for anything. We received the inspection report bright and early the next morning and it was very beautifully packaged with photos and underlining, arrows and simple explanations. Everything was so easy to locate and understand. The price was slightly more than what i paid for another inspection on a similar home a few months prior but it was well worth it as they were way more thorough and i feel that i got more out of the experience. Blue Line was a bit more expensive than other companies we'd called, but from what I'd previously learned about mold, Sean seemed the most knowledgeable. Upon looking our situation over, he found no mold to be tested but did do a good inspection of the area and found no moisture, and no rotted wood. Turns out the black discolorations in our attic ceiling exposed fiberglass was from a mice intrusion. With no testing to be done, Sean only charged us a smaller fraction of the original quote.
