This place is absolutely horrendous to say the very least. I went to the Metairie location because it was closest to my house. I arrived at 11:45 AM and only one other person was there before me, but he left after going up to the window to speak with the receptionist, who btw was rarely behind the window. I signed in, sat down and waited to be acknowledged. Finally someone called my name from behind the window. I told her that I was there for a drug screening. She informed me that drug screenings will not be conducted until after 1pm (for their lunch break). I was a little agitated because it was 15 minutes before noon. PLENTY of time to conduct a drug screening. I left the establishment and sat in my car until 5 minutes before 1PM and took a seat in the waiting room since I had already signed in at 11:45 AM. No one was at the window just as no one was there the first time I arrived. As I'm patiently waiting, another woman was sitting in the waiting room when the receptionist called her to the window. She quietly stood there while the receptionist was typing something up for about 5 minutes until the man who was there at 11:40 AM before me walked through the door and stood behind her. Five minutes pass and four more others stood behind him. I overheard the man tell the receptionist that he was there at 11:40 AM and that he just needed a drug screening. She told him to sign in again and then I realized that even though the other man and I who were there 15 minutes prior to their lunch break signed in, we were going to have to sign in again. Even though, we both should have been first on the list. Now there's five people in front of myself. Mind you, the people who work there are FAR from friendly either. I left and went to the location on St. Charles Ave. in New Orleans. They were MUCH more hospitable and prompt. If I could rate the Lab Corp in Metairie less than one star, I would. These people are lazy, unfriendly, and have no sense of urgency whatsoever. The place is old and has a funny smell so that doesn't particularly make things any more pleasant. DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more
