Listen if you have a choice on where to get your blood drawn, do not go here. The staff are lazy and act as if they do not care. They stuck me so hard that my arm bruised for two weeks. Let me back up, and tell you that I did not have an appointment according to them, yet I was sitting there when my doctors office called. There was no one in the office and they told me the first appointment available was at 1:00 PM Three hours a way. Long story short, I drove to the collection center on Cleary and Vets, was greeted with a smile and actual concern for my care. I filed a complaint while I was there but no one ever called me back. Then I called the 800 number but again no one called. I guess since I get blood work done every month, my experience was disappointing. I've had to come get tests here several days in the last few weeks, and every experience has been positive. I've had blood taken by three different staff (Demetra, Alexia, and another lady I can't remember her name), and they've all been so kind and friendly. They're also all very good at taking blood in a quick, efficient, and painless way. The electronic check-in is very fast, and then I barely have time to sit down before I get called back. I'm in and out in under 5 minutes every time I come. My results always post to my account within 14-20 hours from the time I take my test. read more

I had a bad experience here today. Upon arrival one lady was sitting in the waiting room while her husband was having blood drawn. Both Alexia and Keisha , quest employees , were rude and inconsiderate upon arrival. Alexia said they do not take walk-ins and that the next appointment was not for an hour. A lady that followed me-in did not have an appointment either . She overheard what was said to me and proceeded to make an appointment on the automated machine at the desk. It gave her an appointment in 30 min. She sat to wait with her child. I did the same , it gave me the same appointment in 30 min. Keisha called lady in waiting room to come to the back to sit with her husband. Keisha then told me I could not sit in the waiting room I had to sit in my car and THEY WOULD CALL ME at my appointment time. Keisha did not tell the lady with the child that she had to sit in her car and I did not see that lady leave the room. Keisha and Alexa contradict themselves . They certainly do not show any care or concern for patients coming to this facility to have blood work drawn. I would hate to think of how they would stick me to have blood work drawn after the rudeness/aggressiveness I experienced with them. Other quest facilities in the area showed 3 to 11 minute wait times. I worked in health care for 30 years and I was never allowed to speak to patients in this manner. As I waited outside for the lady to call me for my appointment.... The lady with the little boy walked outside and we began to talk. I asked if she had her blood drawn, and she said yes. I asked if they made her leave the room? The lady with the child said when I left the room she asked if she needed to leave also? They told her yes , WAIT in your car and THEY WOULD CALL her. Lady with the little boy stood outside the door and shortly after she heard the phlebotomist call her name.. The Lady opened the door when she heard her name called and they told her they were ready . Quest said her son had to have a mask on. The lady apologized that her son lost the mask while they were waiting to be called. They were RUDELY spoken to by the quest employee !! Employee saying, I already gave you a mask!! Lady asked for another mask for her child , he was seven years old and did not know where he had misplaced it. The quest employee went behind the doors that you can easily hear through and complained to the other employee. I already gave him a mask and now I have to give him another one. The mother and child overheard all of this. Continuing to speak to this lady about our experience she told me that they were never going to call her in her car . If she had not been standing by the door /outside the door , when they called her name they probably would have marked her as missed appointment. I agree because I have been sitting in my car and I have never received a phone call to come have my blood work drawn. She also said another patient came into the waiting room after I left , sat and waited while she was having her blood work drawn . Quest did not tell her she had to leave. The lady told me they're not going to call you. They did not call on my phone. Lady said, had I not been standing at the door they probably would have marked me as a missed / no-show patient. I wonder how many people drove off because they were never called to come in for their bloodwork. I wonder how many people had to go back upstairs to ask about bloodwork because they were never called. I have Written to patient advocacy questdiagnostics.com I hope someone calls me back. I have taken people's blood for labs, but I have never had mine taken before. Eek!! From being involved in the health field, I am aware that phlebotomists who take blood daily have the highest success rate for sticking people on the first attempt. I've never been so happy to be right!!! From the beginning, it was very easy and convenient to schedule my appointment with quest. With their online scheduling option, you can tell what days and times they have available at ALL of their locations. Great! Unfortunately, when I woke up this morning I wasn't feeling well and my brother had stayed over the night before... To sum it all up, arctic temperatures are conducive to sleep but not to waking up when you feel disgusting. I cannot describe how thankful I was for last minute online scheduling! I changed that 7am appointment with my iPhone in 5 seconds from the comfort of my bed. Yessss. I arrived at quest at 9, and my appointment was for 9:15. The phlebotomist Shelene swiftly and expertly drew the blood she needed, and had everything completed by 9:10am. Boom. She proved they're the best. Way to go, Shelene! Horrible experience AGAIN! This time I'm not going back! I keep trying to give the phlebotomists a break but no more! There is only 2 there that seem to care at all! The worst is Maytrell! Clearly not wanting to be there. So today I was greeted ( not) by a woman asking for info didn't look at me or tell me her name or anything! She sticks me and it really hurt! It never hurts like that! Then she's digging around in my vein and moving everywhere and I commented and she tells me she can pull it out and so I said then what? And she says she would stick me again!!! No thanks! Horrible! 4 hours later and my arm still hurts! If you don't like your career choice find something else don't take it out on the patient! read more

I have been requesting my lab work results for 20 days now, and I have been completely ignored. I don't even get so much as an automated response. Their website/app talks about how easy it is to do so, but they haven't even given me the courtesy of turning me down, much less deliver on my request. I'll be switching to another lab who appreciates its patients. Flat out ignoring your customers is alarmingly unprofessional. Do we really want to entrust our medical needs to this sort of attitude/incompetence? read more
