There's never a long wait and the staff is efficient at keeping our visits on a decent pace especially when everyone nowadays has such busy schedules. Handicap parking is always full when I come with my family member and it can be a bit of a hassle when they have to be dropped off by the door while I take over the driving to park their car in a non handicap parking spot. My only concern is for anyone coming here alone and having to walk further if handicap spots are not available. Otherwise, it's a nice, convenient facility.

I went back to Henry Ford and was told that the MRI techs decided only one test was necessary, and without notifying me or the doctor, only put one test on the disc. Since when does a lab tech decide what doctor's orders they will or will not follow? Esp since both MRIs were performed at the time of my appointment. Obviously it was a technical mix up and they are in CYA mode with the 'tech decides which tests to perform'. If that's true, I'll never go to Henry Ford again because I'd like the doctor to determine what tests I need, not a random lab tech. Bottom line, if you have MRIs scheduled here, make sure you know how many, and you have the corresponding results in hand before you leave.

She came and put the tourniquet on my arm.. palpated for a vein and found one, then used an alcohol prep on the site. She then walked over and put 1 glove on.. came back and palpated the area again with her ungloved and unwashed hand.. then stuck the needle in with her gloved hand. I called Quest and they said they could not confirm that she worked for them and told me to call my dr office. So I called the office manager and she confirmed that the woman did in fact, work for quest. I think I will get my blood draws done at the hospital from now on.

Christopher was our phlebotomist, and he was professional, kind, and gentle. I struggle with needles, and I believe he sensed that. His calm demeanor and gentle conversation kept me blissfully distracted. My arm looks fine a day later (no bruising). Will return to this location.

The lady at the front desk at St John told me I did not need to make an appointment. Walk ins are welcome. I was a little confused because I did not know where the entrance was for the St John lab. I had to call the number on google and ask for which entrance (East). I parked and went in to look at the directory and walked down the hall. The waiting room was empty and small, but very clean. I told her my name, gave her my slip and insurance card, and only waited a few minutes. Everything went by really fast. The nurse was kind and helpful. She asked if I had any questions and took her time with me because I do not like needles. She explained what she was doing and what was being tested, which was very helpful. I am glad I chose St. John.

We have been getting our lab work done here for many years. Whenever we need to get blood tests or…read moreother lab work done, this location is our first choice as well as the closest and where we see our primary care physician. So partly it's a convenience factor but there are other considerations as well, especially for my wife. For some reason nurses tend to have trouble finding her veins and have to often make multiple attempts. At this lab the nurses seem to be consistently able to successfully find it on their first try, especially Marilyn! The results are normally available on line in less than 24 hours. Currently they are requiring masks and also checking temperatures upon entering and blocking off some of the waiting room seating to maintain the required distances.
