I've been lucky to arrive at the right time, parking & lab-wise. I find that between 2:00 & 4:30 M-F allows for free 2- hour parking around the side of the building & the lab isn't as busy. The lab closes M-F at 5:00 so be aware of cutting it too close. No promises but again, it may just be luck. They have Sat. hours 8-12 but from what I read that's with an appointment. The lab itself has always been clean & professional. There's an automated check-in machine & when your name is called the receptionist deals with your paperwork & completes the check-in. My wait time has been short & the blood draw...painless. The technicians have been professional & friendly. About the parking...the free parking also has a day when there's no parking during certain hours so read the signs. There's a pay-ahead parking lot as well. The lab is close to the elevator on the 2nd floor. The waiting area has lots of chairs. A TV plays fun movies, helping to distract from the fact that you're about to have lab work! read more

So frustrating. I needed to do a drug test for an employer. Arrived at 10:30, paid for parking, waited in line for 45 mins only to be told they only so drug testing between the hours of 10-11 and 1-2:30. What kind of bullshit is that. Can't call the number because it's automated and there's no way to speak to someone. Appointments are booked for the next 3 weeks. Like what the hell?! So incredibly stupid that I was in line for nothing. Now I have to come back in two hours and do this again. Update your information or have a separate facility for drug testing. Make sure to set up an appointment! This place can get ridiculously busy on a Saturday if you don't have an appointment. I came in one Saturday and there were virtually no line, but I came in another Saturday and the place had people waiting outside the office. I was able to bypass the wait time, which I almost felt bad about and was in and out in about 15-20 minutes. The staff here was very patient and nice. Horrible experience. I'm 8 months pregnant and needed to have a blood pull done. I have a pending bill of 400 dollars that I have been working with my insurance to get covered, as I am a high risk patient and the previous labwork should have been covered. I had called LabCorp and notified them of this, so they had the account on hold for me while I got it squared away. They basically turned me away today saying if I didn't pay them all of it right then, then they wouldn't pull my blood. So I left, in tears. read more

I have to warn you the parking associated to the medical building isn't free. If you want free parking, you have to try really hard for street parking. Super HARD! Beyond the parking woes, this facility is fantastic because it isn't busy and it is open on Saturdays. Plus they are not under staffed and the wait is usually no more than 10 mins. The La Palma location is at least 45 mins to 1.5 hr wait. read more

The receptionist does not help older people with the tablet sign in, and I think that's a terrible thing. So, my brother and I had to take time off work to help check in my dad check in my grandma to get her blood drawn. I arrived today when they opened and was informed if o don't have an appointment, I need to wait. Ok. So I waited with 3 others without appointments. They took the two people with appointments and then looked at the sign in sheet. The woman who would not let us sign in said, "none of you signed in?" We said she wouldn't let us until they take appointments. She proceeded to tell us now that it is "impossible" to get us in today because it is appointments only. The time I sat in the office, I observed this woman's rudeness to me and so many others. I can't believe this is permitted. Being in healthcare administration, I would never allow someone like this represent my facility. There is a right way and a wrong way to deliver a message. My complaint isn't in the message but how the rude woman delivered it to the group. She needs to go! read more

I've come here multiple times for drug tests for school and I have gotten such good experience. I am glad I came here, the facility is clean and organized. COVID has this place on With organized and only x amount of ppl in the place. Sitting far apart. The Asian drug test guy is so nice especially when you get tested and your afraid of nothing! I know a lot of people have complained about this location, but I have never had an issue with this LabCorp. 90% of the time I make an appointment so I basically walk in first thing in the morning, get my lab work done, and walk out. I think there was one time I didn't and the place was packed (it was a Saturday) but I had nothing else to do so I waited, and still I was in and out in a reasonable amount of time. The people are nice, quick, and efficient. I detest needles and the girl who drew my blood did an excellent job, I didn't feel a thing. There is one closer to my house, but I know this one so I continue to go there. The one complaint I have is that you have to pay for parking, but if you get there early, they have free street parking so no big deal. read more

This place has gotten a lot better. They finally have some nice, helpful, polite staff at the front desk. They used to have one lady who was rude to every especially the elderly who could not figure out how to checkin on the tablets. Also, two of the best flatobomists work here. Kirth and Richard. I drive from afar, passing many other Labcorps locations just for blood draws with these guys. They get the vein everytime, even those with bad veins, no bruising no repokes. I do like the efficiency of the updated draw station area itself. I like the double or triple checking of name and blood tests. Never had a problem with the actual blood draw here, but the process blows. The check-in process is awkward and unclear. Then there is a long wait and confusion on where to go next. People end up waiting a long time for no reason just because they weren't told to go into the next room for their blood draw. I waited for 40 minutes before checking with them since I was skipped over. They just completely missed my name on the list with no apology. I decided to commute from Downey to give this LabCorp a try and I do not regret it! I've been to the Downey location, Torrance location and they are horrible! This LabCorp was clean and ALL staff was helpful and so friendly! Also, we arrived about 30 minutes early to our appointment and we were able to be seen. We only waited about 10 minutes! The technician was so gentle with my daughter and actually talked to her to try to keep her calm. We will be coming back here from now on for any future labs needed. read more

If you don't walk in for a urine test already doing the pee pee dance in order to prevent an accident, prepare to wait even if no one else is ahead of you. My job requires us to take a urine drug test every 6 months. I go to the locations that are most convenient with my schedule that day. I haven't had a problem with this location being busy which is a huge plus in my book. However, they tell you that they need much more urine than they actually need and make you wait because you need "a lot". When you give them the amount they claim they need they dump half of it out. The tech was also rude to another patient who misunderstood the directions he was given. read more

OK so we all know Labs can be a bit janky - a little dusty, crusty, and uh...needing maintenance. You walk into some of these places and don't wanna touch the walls, or have them touch you, lol! This lab completely surprised me! First off, the appointment system is awesome - its an online system that allows you to schedule, and reschedule, as needed. When we got there at like 9am, there were only 2 other people! We were in and out in less than 20 mins. I had to go take my 1 yr. old to get a blood draw, and the staff was incredible! I thought I was gonna die, but I survived to tell the (awesome) tale, and review this place. The facility was absolutely spotless. That made the first impression and eased my concerns. If I have to do any more scheduled labs, I will be going here. read more

Was able to obtain information on when and where to come online. They said don't come early in the morning so I went approximately 11 AM. I was pleasantly surprised that there were only a few people waiting. They had social distancing and the waiting area was very clean. The staff were very professional and I was in and out in approximately 15 minutes. The lady who drew my blood was excellent! I would highly recommend using LabCorp. The staff here is amazing. I get bloodwork every 4 months. I went recently on 7/25. The young lady (I didn't get her name) that opened up at 8am was so very helpful and kind. I even heard her help the gentleman behind me and again so accommodating with service. I usually dont write reviews but really felt I had to. I didnt get a chance to thank the young lady when I left because she was busy behind the counter. So hopefully she gets this sincere "thank you". Great experience. Used to go to Downey but usually packed and long wait time. Set up an appt here for 9 a.m today (Wednesday), got there (easy free parking right outside on the street, at that day and hour anyway) and checked in, and was texted in about ten minutes to come in (before my time of appt at 9). Very efficient inside, waiting room only had two other people and it was easy to sit more than six feet away. They called me in right away, didn't even feel blood draw. This is a 4 star place ? Crazy, maybe it's just one of those days. A few places have false advertisements on their working hours and I literally had to run all over the place to find one. I finally found this one and instead of driving there, I called first knowing it was close to the closing time. I called at exactly 4:40pm asking "if I get there in 15 minutes will you guys take me?" The girl said "yes of course if you make it before 5." So I was speeding my way there and got there in 12 minutes and then I had to find parking and then went into the building. No signs said LABCORP anywhere. I looked on the board and noticed something about lab test I forgot what it was, but it lead me to suite 200 which is where LabCorp was!!! I arrived in the building at 4:56 I called about 10-15 times no answer. When I got to suite 200 it wasn't even 5:00 and the door was locked. I knocked no answer. And I called a few more times and someone finally answered and by that time it was 5:02. Of course they answer the phone after 5:00 to tell me they're closed. This is freaking FRUSTRATING. They could have just said "no 5 minutes before closing is not acceptable." I was going back and forth a few times with the girl on the phone expressing my annoyance and the girl goes, "fine we're in suite 200." Are you freaking serious ??? NO. disrespectful as hell. I called my doctor immediately and told her the situation and she told me thats wrong. This is how they treat a pregnant lady. I even told the lady I've been driving in from south LA and she was like "if you make it before 5....." should've just said we close at 4:55. read more

I was told they'll only take appointments on Saturday's starting next month just to let y'all know. Also make sure you know the lot behind the building is pay parking, $3 for 2 hours. Very easy to find and accessible. Nice staff and very clean waiting area with lots of chairs. My phlebotomist was nice and kept small talking to take my mind of the blood draw (I'm a big baby). I've been to several labs in this very building but my wife needed a tb test for her work. As others have stated, the check in process is not very clear but I have never felt more grossed out by a facility. There was a bloody bandaid on the waiting room seat and the one tech was walking from the back to the reception area while working on individuals. In the end it turned out that they don't even do tb tests at this location. This is the reason Ebola will be an issue in this country. read more

I got there right at 8:10 so that I wouldn't have to wait long, there was no one at reception-- Just a clipboard and a technician had to tell me to go into the little office to sign in because he noticed there wasn't anyone in there to help me. Then when the receptionist rolled in at around at 8:30, then the line started moving fast. Bad office assistance, however the lab techs were awesome.
