They say they are open on Saturdays but they are not open! Otherwise I am sure the lab is fine.

While my name was on the board in first position it was never called. 30 minutes goes by and people with later appointments are going in before me. Then an hour passes. Here is the key problem at this zoo: there is no human in charge of dealing with the people coming and going. Many people needed help using the check in service, and the other people waiting, including me, helped them. Every once in a while one of the people taking blood would pop into the room and be descended on by many people trying to figure things out. For me, I talked to FOUR different people and all of them said my name was in the system and to wait. And all four said they would take me next but that did not happen. Meanwhile, noon appointments were going in and one of them, who knew my plight, said that I should go first but your person said no. I had to force a conversation to get seen. She said she could see that it was a "system" error and that I had done everything right. I reminded her that earlier she had promised to check as she was aware of my extensive wait but she didn't follow up, either. In all, it took me almost two hours to get a blood test. Sitting that long with possibly sick people was unpleasant. This is the manifestation of what is going wrong with health care as one human being could have solved my problem.
