I've been using Labcorp for decades and only once experienced an issue with a rolled vein. Since, I've easily had 50+ blood draws and never another problem. The pre-check in and ability to make appts online are a great service. Recently, had appt in same building, showed up earlier than expected and despite it seeming to be too busy they were able to take me as a walk in and was in/out within 15 minutes. The gentleman that drew it was extremely polite, wonderful with needles and I barely felt a thing. Exam rooms are always spotless and staff is friendly. I recommend Labcorp and they have a ton of locations. read more

I am a person with small veins. Getting blood drawn is always an ordeal; blown veins, using both arms which results in bruising. Lisa G. at Lab Corp on Washington Avenue is professional and knowledgeable. One attempt and she's done. Lisa is an asset to the Lab Corp staff. Thank you Lisa! read more

I am disgusted!!! I have to go back in for a 2nd time because the Phlebotomist couldn't find my vein and my Blood somehow clotted so now I have to go back and do the A1C and the CBC over again. They need to get competent Phlebomists so I don't have to be inconvenienced like this. read more

went in for a blood draw, was about 2 seconds away from losing consciousness (to no fault of the phlebotomist - i struggle with needles and have been ill) and the phlebotomist was absolutely amazing. he made sure i didn't pass out and did everything he could to help me feel better. i wish i got his name, if you see this thank you for being so kind to me! i'm sorry for almost blacking out! read more

They do make getting the test results easier to obtain than going through Optum. But, it doesn't matter if you make an appointment for bloodworm or not, because one still has to wait a long time. Nor doe it matter if the patient is elderly either. That in itself doesn't seem right. read more

The staff does the best they can. Labcorp itself doesn't staff this location with the necessary amount of staff to serve Kingston. They also basically have a monopoly. At 6:30am they have 15 people waiting for bloodwork, and one staff to do everything from checkin to blood draws. at 7:45am, still only one person. This is the norm here. and you basically cannot get an appointment, they're booked out two weeks in advance, so if you need blood work for a current issue, you're at their mercy. I am writing for 2 other ladies that have been using Lab Corp. The Saugerties office on West Bridge St is wonderful. The Lab Corp in Kingston on Washington Ave is very undesirable. It wasn't just one occasion, but 4 different times with my mom. Two different times with a close friend, both ladies in their mid 80's. With my mom, all 4 times we waited for more than 1 1/2 hours. 3 times, after waiting that long, the rude person at the front desk claimed they didn't have the standing order for her PT INR. I personally handed them the order. Went back after a week and was told they never got the script. I called the Dr who then faxed the order with the standing order for blood work any time during the 6 month period. The woman then claimed it was written wrong by Dr. which it wasn't. Went back the 3rd week and same routine after waiting almost 2 hours. Never was able to get blood work done there as the script kept mysteriously disappearing. Went to Saugerties Lab Corp and SURPRISE, they pulled it up in 30 seconds. The nurse drawing blood and checking us in the Saugerties office was wonderful. Wait time was less than 5 minutes. I'll never go back to the Kingston Lab Corp with my mom again. The woman behind the desk was rude. Not just with me, but talked down to other Seniors in the Lab. Many Seniors don't know how to log in on the computer screen there, and the crank behind the desk never offered to help. She spoke so rudely to these people. Never a good experience in that office. It wasn't just me, others waiting had the same opinion. Quite a few of us would have eye contact and the look of disgust. I felt bad for the people being demeaned by one rude woman. read more

While there are some caring employees here, the place is slow, understaffed, and needs a better cleaning. This medical lab test processing center has all the charm, efficiency and cleanliness of the DMV...combined with the indifference of a multi-state corporation. Of course, the DMV is cheaper, they don't stick you with needles and keep your blood... so there's that. So, LabCorp vs. DMV? I'd rather go to the DMV. read more

The staff here is so incredibly kind and patient. I had blood taken today and was extremely nervous and not only did the women exercise extreme patience with ease and grace, they also did a great job taking my blood and stood with me after to be sure I was feeling alright. They seemed to genuinely care about my well-being . I felt safe and cared for and that is worth all of the stars that could be given. read more

The staff was very helpful and patient. My prescription wasn't on file so they waited for my doctor to fax without issue. The phlebotomist was so sweet and calming. The offices were clean and set up for social distancing. If one prefers to wait outside- the office is set up to text you when it's your turn. The whole experience was easy and seamless. LabCorp has updated the sign-in procedure and it's wonderful. Located on the ground floor of MAHV Pavillon with early morning opening. I appreciate the staff and the lack of a television in the waiting room. WiFi access for private cell phone surfing and a calm, quiet atmosphere. Clean, neat and tidy restrooms. First come, first served but the service moves relatively quickly. read more

1 star is to many for this place! Dirty! Walked into this lab for blood work and it was just dirty, that's really all I can say...once I got to the desk with my script the lady had a bad attitude. I decided to walk out and ventured to a different lab. I will never use Labcorp in the future for services if I can help it. read more

I was just here a little while ago, to have a drug test. Not only was the place looking spotless, but also their organization is terrific. They seem to know exactly what they are doing, and they know the process well. The one guy(who knew my mother) got a little sarcastic with my mother, but it was workable. I don't know much about their blood-labwork(mine was a urine test), but this appearance went off without a hitch. read more
