TERRIBLE Check in process if you are tall( me) or a SENIOR. You check in at a wobbly pedestal where the screen is about 3 1/2 feet off the ground If you are tall it's hard to see the screen because they are low and light from the mega large windows blur the questions. Saw one senior start to cry because it wobbling so much her typing was affected. She told me she had to start over three times because of the wobbling causing in accurate typing. I helped her get through the process. Three people behind the desk didn't even offer to help her. LABCORP: You have to consider all types of people using you facilities. DO BETTER LABCORP. read more

Lady straight up ignored that I was standing in waiting room for over an hour; when I asked her if there was a reason why I haven't been called up for check in; her attitude is what threw me out of character; she said all the people above me had appointments and then they worry about the ones that come "walking in" I said; I understand people have appointments but I haven't even been acknowledged for check in. 7:15 appointment made on line. Show up and the computer to scan you in is broken. Other patients tell me to write my name on a paper. There are already 20 names. 20 minutes pass. I have yet to see an employee in the building. 10 additional people have come in. This place is a joke! Very bad experience here. Came in for annual bloodwork. Front desk staff rude and pretty much seemed bothered with my existence. Things got worse when it was time to draw my blood. I've never had a problem with finding a vein to draw blood from. For some reason my tech finds the most random spot half down the inside of my arm and of course collapses my vein. Still hurts. And I'm sitting in meetings with my arm looking like I just shot up dope in West Baltimore. Thanks for nothing LabCorp Glen Burnie. Avoid this place at all costs. Staff was accomodating when I had some discomfort during my blood draw - the manager came out to help. This location is pretty decent. Online appointments are easy and there is a large parking lot. I have had a bit of a wait even with appointments, but usually around 10 minutes- which isn't a huge deal. The staff always seems quite busy in the morning- I am guessing if you go later in the day things are a bit quieter. While the phlebotomists haven't always been the most conversational, they have all been great- I rarely feel much when they draw my blood and it is almost always quick, easy, and painless. Results are usually available relatively quickly online, depending on your tests. If you're looking for somewhere to get your blood drawn in the area, this place is a solid choice. read more

On 11/3/2020 I made an appt for 11/6/2020 at the Glen Burnie, MD office (not Walgrens). I used the service where you sit in your car and your're notified when your tech is ready.. Labcorp sent a text that the tech was ready. I went in and waited aproximately 15 min. The first tech called another tech because I have small veins. The second tech first tried my arm and the flow was slow, the blood started coagulating. She tried my hand with success. Gave me a cup for a urine that i had to afterwards write my name on it before pkacing the specimen in the exam room sink; because, she was on to the next one. I waited a couple of weeks and my results were not on my doctor's website. The doctor's office called the main office with no success and next Glen Burnie. Neither office hsd a record of my ever being there. I have used Labcorp for two decades. Depending on the time your wait may be long. But this kind of service is not expected. I went to this LabCorp in need of a pre-employment drug screen. The last time I had to do a drug screen, it was a quick and easy process at Quest Diagnostics. After my experience at LabCorp, I would HIGHLY encourage people (if you have a choice) to visit Quest instead. I was met with a terrible indifference as soon as I walked through the door. Both technicians kept their backs towards me, and never even offered a greeting. I filled out the sign-in sheet and then asked if I should sit down. Without looking up, the technician in a very annoyed tone responded yes. Flustered at this point, I took a seat. After another customer walked in and was served before me, I was finally asked, "You have a drop-off?" Me, not knowing how this process works because I was never so much as greeted when I entered this godforsaken office, had circled 'specimen drop-off' on the sign-in sheet. It was the closest thing in my mind to giving a urine sample. When I told them that I needed to give a sample, the technician, again very annoyed, told me to sit back down. She actually phrased it, "You can sit back down." When I was finally allowed to approach the throne, I handed my paperwork over, and after a quick look the technician immediately slid the paperwork back to me only to declare that they don't drug test at this facility, and if I had SEEN THE SIGN WHEN I WALKED IN, I wouldn't be in this situation. So after they saw the sign-in sheet and asked why I was there, they still had me "sit back down" an additional five minutes only to tell me that "they don't do that here." Never in my life have I been subjected to such terrible customer service or been treated with such gross indignity. read more

Service was fast ( i went in the morning) but the customer service was horrible they don't smile no eye contact you can barely hear what the say and EVERYONE is just looking mad and grumpy. Avoid this place at all cost!! I had to go 3 times and all 3 times they messed everything up! The first time they had my information in the computer from my doctor, but could not figure out how to get my information off of the computer to do my test. After 2 hours of waiting for them to try and figure it out, I just left. The last time they did the wrong blood test. To make matters even worse they sent the results to the wrong doctor. I wouldn't recommend coming to this Lab Corp location at Crain Tower in Glen Burnie unless you have an arm of steel. The technicians who used to work here some years ago were fantastic but I can't say the same for those working there now. My two most recent experiences at this Lab Corp location were terrible. I had to get blood drawn but was so bruised on my arm for over two weeks afterwards. Unfortunately, I had to go back to the same location shortly afterwards for more blood work and the phlebotomist was extremely rough and poked the needle all around my arm because she said my veins jumped and my blood was coming out slowly. The bruising afterwards was even more horrendous then the first time. My coworkers were even shocked to see it look so badly. (It would take a dollar bill to cover the bruising.) To top it all, I learned that the samples were hemolyzed so my doctor is ordering yet more blood work. Now, I typically get blood drawn at another doctor's office about three times a year. And other than one time several years ago when it took them four tries by four different people to find my vein, and even though my blood flows slowly, I have not bruised like this ever before. Nor did I once have a problem with hemolyzed blood. Nor do I recall such a painful experience as this most recent one. No wonder so many people are afraid of needles. read more

Came to today to get some lab work done and had a okay experience. To start off when going up to the 6th floor the elevators are old and shaky which I know labcorp has no control of but if your scared of elevators don't use them. I get in and check in on the kiosk which is super easy and fast since I've been here a few times and all my info is in the system. I sit down in the last available seat which there only a bench and 4 chairs. A few minutes pass and I was called up and sent to a room. Waited in the room for a few more minutes while they tried to get the small crowd of people organized. The woman came in and proceeded to put gloves on and apologized for the wait which wasn't long. The thing that got me was she didn't wash her hands nor use hand sanitizer prior to putting on gloves, before that I noticed she had grabbed a paper from another person, so at this point who knows what's on her hands. I didn't want to complain because I really don't want to argue. She then prepared everything and I showed her where a good vain was, I didn't like the technique she used removing the needle because she just pulled it out instead off what the designed it to do which is to fly back into a plastic piece to protect the person drawing blood from being stuck by the needle and it's more comfortable with patients. She did this after the needle was taken out. I was nervous as I feel like all people are and tried talking to her while this was going on to have small talk but she just ignored me and said have a great day. It's getting 3 stars cause this is the only place I like getting my blood drawn at but we know by now there's a pandemic so wash your hands! Like that's a big no no I'm the medical field! And work on bedside manner it's not bad but it's not good. But keep up the fast past! I was in and out in less then 15 minutes! read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! the rudest staff I have ever come across!!!! I was one of 2 people in the place and we both had to wait for both receptionists to finish their personal conversation and get off their personal phones before they would help us. When I finally did get to the counter the woman was so rude I just wanted to leave but I had taken a specific drug the night before for my blood test and it was time sensitive. She made me feel like I was a huge inconvenience to her and she hated every aspect of her job. Will NEVER be going back. I'll drive the extra 40 mins to another one. read more

I came here on a Tuesday morning. I didn't go too early to try and avoid a crowd. The office I'm reviewing is on the 6th floor. I was not in the new hire testing area. As I arrived I was asked to sign in as normally happens and I sat down to wait. There was no water in the waiting room which is strange. I always like to drink water prior to getting blood drawn. I waited and waited. The number of people there was so large that there were not enough seats for everyone. After an hour, I went to see where I was on the list, still 5 people behind. The receptionist was also rude. I looked on yelp for a closer better reviewed location and found one in Columbia. Went there. Was in and out in under 10 min. Avoid this location at all cost unless you love to sit in a room full of people for hours on end. read more

Awesome experience! After reading some of the negative reviews for the Crain Towers location I was skeptical; however, the staff was very professional and friendly. I love the online check-in with iPads, it really helps speed the process of moving customers to the lab rooms. The technician was cheerful and I didn't even feel the needle go in. I was in and out of there, as a walk-in, 13 minutes after they opened their doors and I was 2nd in line. read more

Worst Lab in town!! Always mess the blood work up, lose lab orders and extremely rude. Extremely long wait!

Located on 6 Floor of a professional building. No easy access or exit to disabled as the elevators are "temperamental" in responding. For older patients with disabilities, the staff gives zero assistance during emergency fire drills when they are forced to hurry down six flight of stairs Even at other times,the intake clerks, are unpleasant to deal with. There seems to be no supervision or training of this staff I do not ever plan to visit this lab ever again. read more

Highly recommend the lab Corp in Crain Towers. The ladies are amazing and so sweet. I am expecting so have been here several times for blood work and the glucose test. With my most recent visit, I had to get the dreaded 3 hour glucose test. By blood draw number two, I was feeling light headed, nauseous and clammy. The ladies took care of me...after my next blood draw, they had me lay down on one of the beds in the back to rest. They checked on me and I could feel their concern for me. I went to get an HCG blood count for what I knew was a miscarriage. I had just left the doctors office (my previous review) and was traumatized by his demeanor but regardless of what I was going through I knew the blood work had to be done. I checked in and the front desk wasnt rude but was no where near pleasant.... just bland.... I was ready to get up and leave due to nerves and the semi packed room when I was called back roughly 15 minutes later. A friendly white woman called me back and commented that she thought I would have been younger since i was an 81 baby.... i guess the smoking and drinking has caused me to age more.... anywho she was amazingly nice and commented that she was only a few years older than me... we walked back to the room and she asked me to take my jacket off and then asked me... little ole me... how i was doing at which point i burst into tears and told her I was there to confirm my miscarriage.... (again refer to my previous review) this complete stranger embraced me and even shed a tear or two with me... explained how she had just gone through ivf and knew what I was going through... we talked and she put me at ease while she drew my blood which was the 5th time i had been stuck in the last 48 hours... I dont remember her name and I would have given this place 5 stars if it wasnt for the front desk. The front desk was there to get paid, the professional lady who drew my blood made me feel like she cared... she didnt make me feel like a patient she talked to me the whole time which was probably less than 10 minutes but during my devestating time she eased my mind and heart..... I didnt even know she took my blood.... I will go back to this location as long as she is there.... read more
