I said absolutely not, you can have Labcorp bill me, I never have to give credit card information this is monthly bloodwork for me that is covered. She went back and forth with me and finally drew my blood (without payment OF COURSE). Then she proceeded to tie the tourniquet on my arm, and stick me, she pulled the needle out of my arm WITH THE TOURNIQUET STILL TIED and blood went everywhere. Because she was upset with me for knowing my insurance she completely was an asshole drawing my blood. Thankfully I'm not a person that gets weird about seeing blood but that could have been super traumatic for someone. I informed her that you're supposed to take the tourniquet off prior to pulling out the needle and she loudly said I've been doing this for 17 years, I know what I'm doing. Saw one senior start to cry because it wobbling so much her typing was affected. She told me she had to start over three times because of the wobbling causing in accurate typing. It is located in the back area of the Safeway store and is private and comfortable. I personally have never had to wait. I will say their automated check in is a little cumbersome but not bad. The excellent rating is because the woman doing my bloodwork was professional and fast. Also, it did not hurt - not at all! And their method for a urine sample is excellent. You have a container in the toilet to pee into and you pour it into the little cup. No holding that cup and trying to pee into it. I hope their analysis is as excellent as their sample taking is.
