I suggest getting an appointment but if you can't coming when they first open is good too. I didn't have an appointment and had to wait about an hour. Everybody is super stressed and grumpy because lots of patients are fasting but just drink your water, bring a book, and chill if you can. I have a really hard time getting my blood drawn. The nurse was really great though. She got me a room where I could lay down, talked to me, and gave me a breathing exercise to do. It took a try on both arms to get a good site but they got it. She also gave me advice to be super well hydrated and drink electrolytes the day before the blood draw, not just the morning of, which might help others like me too. read more

I did not have appointment. The wait time was reasonable. The staff were amazing. I have had some very bad experiences at this location. I did not see a familiar face. The unhappy mean people were gone. The phlebotomist was fabulous. The draw was painless. She was friendly engaging. I can't wait further next blood draw (not really ). Thank you Labcorp!!! read more

My 20-year-old son had a blood draw in the Harvard Ave. location in Denver, CO on May 23, 2024. He developed large hematomas at the upper arm and forearm that still hurt him after 5 days despite icing it for the first 48 hours. Clearly someone incompetent did his blood draw. Stopped in on a relatively quiet Monday morning (no appointments are needed for routine blood draws) and was in and out in about 20 minutes or so. My phlebotomist was funny, friendly and put me at ease. I hadn't had my morning coffee yet so had a case of the Monday morning crankies but I can say I had as pleasant of an experience getting blood drawn as one could have :) Self check-in was straightforward. Having been here both to have labs drawn and to keep someone company, multiple times, I think I've got a fair grasp on how this location runs for the most part. And it does run! Appointments get called first, but they take walk-ins and generally get everyone through pretty quickly, though they also run above their "intended" volume basically all the time. It's very seldom that we come in and the waiting room area is anything but full; there's regularly a line to the door (or through it) for the check-in kiosk. Check-in is quick, and once they call you up they get you in and out pretty snappily as well. There's only been a couple times that the phlebotomists were anything but friendly and professional (and efficient!), so you're unlikely to get an angry Nurse Ratchet type that's going to dig around painfully until they get your blood. I'm a hard stick and have had many problems with people getting a good draw, but they did a good job here once I got through the burgeoning crowd to actually check in. Overall, it's not a perfectly-run location, but you can't pin the blame entirely on the corporation or the staff; they're doing a pretty good job handling more volume of patients with and without appointments than they were clearly ever meant to. read more

We were all sitting in the hallway, waiting to get her blood drawn because everyone was in the room waiting also and there were no seats. The employee named Jenna comes out to yell ( and yes, she did yell) to all of us to go in the other room it's a fire hazard to be in the hallway, which is fine but none of us knew where the second room was of course so I asked, "Where is that?" and she said right where I just came from. Which how would I know where she just came from? She's very unprofessional. First of all, you don't yell at adults and also how would any of us know where a second room is. We don't work there. Also she was very rude to other patients when they asked how long or what the wait time is because there were just so many people waiting and she had a smart aleck response that everyone else has been waiting an hour so it's going to be at least an hour for her also and I honestly just don't think that she knows how to communicate under stress. Someone needs to speak to about her attitude. I didn't get into it with her today because it would've been a whole thing, but I do not appreciate being treated like that nor will I stand for it, if it happens again i will talk to her directly And maybe someone needs to communicate with her that most of these people that are getting blood work done have something going on with their health and they're scared and unsure so to go into a facility and be treated like this is not helpful at all. There is no care or concern today and I guarantee you most of these people in this office. feel the same and that's very disappointing. The staff was very rude and dismissive towards my father and I. Went for a drug test for a future job. Had to be be there before 4:30 walked in at 4:23. When I walked in there was a little wait so I stood in line. They didn't acknowledge me or my father at all. When it was finally time to be seen they VERY rude and said they couldn't perform my drug test because "I wasn't there before 4:30." When my dad tired to explain nicely that we were there before the time, they rudely disrupted him and caught an attitude w/ him. They were all Karen's, and I will not be returning to this location ever again. Once I stepped in and got an attitude w/ them, they tried to de-escalate the situation by trying to talk to me nice but I wasn't going for it. The place was quite dirty and had an awful smell.. yes I'm the person to leave reviews. Very poor staff! As a nationwide company y'all need to look into that. Some of the worst customer support I have ever seen to an entire room of people. The front desk is the stereotype of rude and snotty. I actually called my doc and said I will never go to a LabCorp again, so if I need bloodwork we find somewhere else or I won't be getting bloodwork done, period. Had to walk in to have my blood drawn. Self check in kiosk was very easy to use. Had to wait about 15-20 minutes. NATALIE was my phlebotomist and she was awesome. So friendly, quick and bubbly considering being super understaffed and slammed. Haven't always had the best experience with Labcorp, but Natalie made all the difference. read more

The absolute worst service I've ever encountered in the healthcare industry. The front desk lady/manager was insultingly rude and unhelpful with finding a solution to her closing earlier than reported on their website. She didn't offer a suggestion or an alternative location to get my blood drawn. I drove 2hrs to get my blood drawn and to be turned away with appalling ease and disdain made me realize how unhelpful and unhappy people are in life and with their jobs. Extremely rude techs. No blood draws just a sample dropped off. What a bunch of hags. RUDE

No appointment. I walked in to get my labs done expecting to wait more than a half hour during this craziness. As soon I get there the waiting room is full, but with book in hand, I check in on the kiosk. It maybe took me 5 min at most. I turn around and POOF everyone was gone. I stood there, sort of jaw dropped (my mask prevented the showcase of the actual facial expression). I waited. Not more than 10 min later, just barely getting a few sentences of my book in, I was in the back with Adrienne, who was absolutely awesome and professional... she's does her thing and she didn't bruise me!!! That's huge because I bruise after EVERY blood draw!! I was in and I was out. Good day!!! read more

They don't have a blood pressure machine so I've had two appointments that I've made only to show up and be told they can't complete the appointment. How hard is it to get a new blood pressure machine? Order one on amazon it'll be here in two days! Very disappointing and front desk staff was not able to tell me when I can make an appointment to finally get this completed. read more

Terrible staff. My husband was referred by the wound care to have blood work done. He's been in and out of St Anthony's many times and has had many blood draws but today the staff refused to do it since they wanted a workmans comp name. We called wkmns comp and had our rep talk to them. They refused and were very rude. We went to emergency and got it done once they checked. Very incompetent staff and I wouldn't give them even one star if I didn't have to. read more

This is pretty much a group of the most unfriendly, unhelpful staff I've ever encountered in a medical setting. They don't even look up and say hi when you walk in. For the elderly or folks that aren't as computer savvy-well good luck if you don't know how to use their computerized check-in system, because they won't help you out with it. My naturopath ordered several labs, including a stool sample. I have never completed a stool sample so I researched the process. I read about how to obtain an accurate sample without cross contamination (clean container/bag, wearing gloves, assuring it doesn't touch the toilet or other surfaces, assuring no urine is present, etc). I read about collection on the LabCorp website: "A fresh stool sample transported to the laboratory within 2 hours or one that has been placed in a transport medium (a collection vial containing a preservative)" and I emphasize "or" in this statement. I was able to collect a stool using the mentioned procedures at home and hurried over to the lab to assure I was within the 2 hour window. I entered the lab with Marie, a temp CNA who was there for her first day. She had a question about the computer options and asked Nicole to help. Nicole didn't even check the screen but just said "I don't know" brashly. Then Marie asked about containers for my stool sample and Nicole backed away from the stool sample and proceeded to lay into me, stating that I was supposed to have it in a container and saying things like "I don't even know if this will be accurate", "you're going to have to handle this yourself, we don't handle this", "you can't use our bathroom, you have to go to the bathroom down the hall", "whoever sent you here should have given you containers", "I have never had to deal with this before", "you are supposed to have it in the solution or it's not good". I explained to her what I read on the website and that I researched how to obtain a good sample and that I followed all procedures. And she not only did not hear a word I said but she was incredibly rude, pushy and the most unfriendly medical staff I have EVER come across. I finally put my hand up and stated what I had already stated in a more firm way and said to her "I have never done this before and there is no reason for you to be treating me this way", she responded "well, you're coming at me in a way and I'm having a day". I replied "I can tell". Nicole stormed out of the room and Marie apologized over and over. I stated that Nicole should not be working in this field and I can't imagine how someone who is dealing with an active illness would feel. Not only does no patient deserve this treatment but especially people who are already not feeling good and under medical stress! I am a health care practitioner and I cannot imagine treating a patient this way. I left literally shaking as this was an incredibly unpleasant experience. It was embarrassing enough carrying a stool sample but then to be attacked and treated as if me and my stool were diseased and disgusting was absolutely humiliating! It is unacceptable and it seems to make sense why there are temp workers there instead of long-term employees. I can't imagine working with her. Marie seemed to be very uncomfortable and nervous. I want to highlight that Marie was very sweet, compassionate, reassuring and helpful. She did a great job with the blood draw as well! MARIE is the kind of staff you need at that lab! I will not ever be back to this lab and I will be passing this info onto my Naturopath as well, in hopes that she will no longer send her patients there. read more
