I gave it only four stars because there's a good chance that you will have to wait quite a time to get your labwork done because they are very busy. I personally did not have to wait long because I arrived strategically at 12:20, when they are actually closed for lunch, but I was first in line at their door. So when they re-opened at 12:30, I was the first to be taken (blood draw) and I was out the door 15 minutes later. The inspector did a thorough inspection of our entire home take took about hour and half and pointed out issues and concerns along the way. He then went over a strategy of areas to test, and costs and ultimately we reached a budget that made sense and we agreed with. In less than a week we heard back with testing results and an e-mailed report that we took to remediation company which they used to clean up our home and bring back to normal. They also helped attack the source of our mold problem (leak behind washing machine and issue with air conditioner) so that the problem goes and stays away. We've never hired a mold inspection company before, but found this company to be very professional and extremely knowledgeable. Unfortunately, my husband's experience when he attempted to become a patient with Dr. Gendy was extremely disappointing. When he scheduled his appointment, it was not clearly explained that he would only be establishing care. He was under the impression that he was scheduled for an infusion. While we understand that a patient must first establish care before receiving treatment, the way the front desk staff handled the situation was unacceptable. They were rude, unprofessional, and lacked empathy toward someone seeking medical care. My husband waited for over an hour without receiving any updates. When he finally asked about the delay, the receptionist responded in a dismissive and unfriendly manner, making it seem as though she was withholding treatment rather than simply explaining the process. When I later inquired, I was told there had been a computer issue, but no one had communicated that to my husband while he was waiting. A little communication and kindness would have gone a long way. Instead, the experience left my husband feeling unwelcome and disrespected. As a result, he left without being seen, collected his paperwork, and is now looking for another practice.
