My friend told me the name of an amazing Lab Corp tech that would calm my anxiety so I wanted to make sure I was going to get my bloodwork done on the day this tech was working. I called on 11/26 and 12/2, left a message both times asking if they would please call me back, explaining I am very anxious about getting this done, I heard this tech was amazing, etc. NEVER got a call back. Come to find out I was calling the wrong Lab Corp, but even in calling the wrong office 155 Fries Mill Road could have called me to let me know that tech didn't work in their office. Each visit, the staff is incredibly kind to everyone, including me! I've been here with a line of people out the door, packed waiting room (more common in mornings), but also in the afternoons when I have had no trouble walking right on back to a screening room for whatever test I needed. They do offer online scheduling for appointments on their website and they also allow you to wait in your car for a text when you're up next! If you have trouble with blood draws, they have a room where you can lay down on a bed, and they've even provided me small ice packs to put on my head/neck when I felt unwell. For longer tests, such as a three hour glucose screening, they've allowed me to wait in a room alone in a big comfy chair, rather than the public waiting room. 4 stars because it is very difficult to call this location to speak with someone.

The clock ticks and now you have waited 9 minutes outside the door and a staff member sees you ... well the door is still locked. You have wasted 11 minutes of your 'must get to the office 30 minutes before time. ' Well that was the beginning of my journey to this healthcare provider. I started writing the review frustrated by the fact that I was kept outside the Imaging Center. But then this review was flipped directly because once the doors were opened ... once I met the people ... well let's just say I never imagined getting an MRI was going to be such a positive experience. The tech team clearly knows what they are doing! The "clinic" is spotless and they do all that they can to put you at ease. I know that I am an easy patient so that it was easy for them to joke around with me but I could tell that these guys would be really good working with the large number of patients who get anxiety rushes merely at the thought of going into the tube! So, when I started the review I was sure they'd be lucky to get a 2 star review but as I walked out I knew that the review deserved 5 stars but I just couldn't go there because the doors should have been opened as soon as they saw a patient had arrived promptly as instructed ... 30 minutes before the scheduled time. I have serious nerve Damage and Permanent Disability from a car crash and a truly messed up Surgery, so I begin panicking whenever I have to go for any medical procedure ... So, I hope for the best and expect the worst to prepare myself, Well, this time, I got The Best ! My MRI Technician, Gina was An Angel !
