I was turned away saying the dr wrote the script wrong. now I have to wait even longer with symptoms that are getting worse. I should also add this is a repeat of previous bloodwork that was taken at a different location and Quest refused to take the sample. in going to have to go to labcorp and pay out-of-pocket because they are not in network with my insurance just to find out what is going on with my health.

Got there at 3:00 for my 3:00 appointment for a blood draw. There was one customer there already,…read moreand one woman behind the desk waiting on that customer. They did a whole bunch of paperwork, and then that same woman told her to come in the back, which she did. The two of them came back out and did a whole bunch more paperwork. There was NO ONE else there, and yet thirty minutes went by before the Quest receptionist ever looked at me or acknowledged me. The one woman at the counter, it turned out, was the entire Quest team: she was the receptionist, secretary, and blood drawler. Also phone answerer. I kinda expected her to pump gas and maybe play the accordion too. All in all it was a peculiar experience. The only good thing I will say is that when I finally got in the back to have my blood drawn, she was nice, and she managed to draw my blood without any problem. But even that doesn't make me want to give it two stars. There was something very Twilight Zone about the whole experience, and the creepy way that I was there, it was quiet and empty, and yet still nobody saw me or spoke to me.

The 2 ladies were clearly unhappy with their jobs or totally burned out. I see so many negatives and yet, St. Peters is doing NOTHING to change this. I hope never to return here. There are so many other blood draws. Dont come here. Ugh. Disgusted with St. Peters and Bender Labs. Shame on you!!!

I went into the Kohls' location first thing in the morning for a blood draw. There were two…read moreemployees present, a younger woman and an older woman. They were loudly shouting back and forth from one end of the office to another. At first it was just pleasantries. Unprofessional, for sure, but I just wanted to get the blood draw done quickly. The younger employee began complaining about the codes that were listed on my blood draw order. She yelled to the other employee that the codes were incorrect and that "these doctors just don't care." Then she shouted my doctor's name, a well respected member of the medical community, and said "he should know better." I was shocked. The other employee asked her who the doctor was. She shouted his name even louder. The older employee then shouted "He's old. He should retire!" I was appalled at the lack of respect for a member of the medical community and for me, his patient. I had never experienced this type of unprofessionalism in a medical facility. I was going to retrieve the work order and leave when the younger employee called me in and said they were not going to be able to draw my blood because there were incorrect codes on the order. I took the order and quickly left the office. When I got home, I emailed Patient Experience at St. Peter's Partners. Within a half hour I received a response from the coordinator apologizing for what I experienced and assuring me that the incident was being referred to management and to Human Resources. A half hour later, I received a phone call from the woman who supervises all 14 St. Peter's labs. She reviewed the facts with me and then said she was on her way to have a discussion with these two employees. She said that this type of unprofessionalism would not be tolerated. She was appalled at the statement of my doctor being too old and should retire. I am grateful that St. Peter's responded quickly to this incident. Hopefully they will take action to make sure that no customer ever has to endure this type of unprofessionalism again. I appreciate their apologies, but I will never set foot in this lab again. And I had been a steady customer there since they opened. This is how you lose business.
