I was looking for a new restaurant to try and was drawn in by their fresh fish of the day, dorade (mahi mahi). I was going to order it, but saw that it would be 35-45 minutes to prepare and it would come whole, for you to debone at the table. This is NOT a criticism; I would have gladly waited and filleted the fish (very common in good European restaurants), but I'd had a long day and was looking to eat and then crash. I'd definitely come back for such an offering, however. They fly in fresh fish every Wednesday, so I know where I'll be next week!
I ordered a glass of the sparkilng rose the bruschetta and the insalata di gamberi. Both came out fairly quickly and were equally delicious. I had more than enough to eat and felt the device was excellent.
This will become a very popular restaurant once people realize it's here. They have a lovely high end wine menu and the food offerings, like freshly made caponata di nonna, plus numerous bruschette, antipasti, insalati, fresh tuna and swordfish steaks, chicken-all lovingly prepared in Sardinian style: this won't be my only visit here.
They also offer amazing lunch deals.
This would be a great family style night out as well as a romantic dinner.
Right before I left, I had the privilege of meeting the owner. Effusive and warm, she's a gem. read more
