I have come to believe that most pizza in Switzerland is fantastic and somewhat similar to NY style pizza. It's got a thin, special crust. Crunchy on the outside, but filling and slightly soft under the layers of cheese and tomato sauce. So, in we go. Bf ordered the pizza tonno (tuna), for 18.10 CHF, and I ordered the pizza diavola, for 15.60 CHF. Mine had spicy tomato sauce with bell peppers, or peperoni, as the Swiss call them (don't get that mixed up with American pepperoni, the meat). They were both big, delicious, cheesy, and full of flavor. I'm still getting used to putting tuna on pizza and also in spaghetti, but it's actually really REALLY good. So go try it. Anyway, the prices were normal, the pizza was great, and we were even able to take our leftovers home in a to go box! What a winning night. I made a to go order, as I was tired and preferred to eat in my room. I ordered a baked pasta dish with ham, cheese, mushrooms, melted cheese and a tomato based sauce. It was ready 15 minutes later; it was nice and piping hot. You must pay with cash for any meal total under 60 euros. I got home and dug in. Sadly, the taste was mediocre. The pasta was perfectly cooked, but the sauce tasted bland and the ingredients didn't combine well, which is odd, because most of them I combine on a pizza without a problem. The cheese had an odd taste to it as well, so I didn't eat it. The meal was inexpensive, but not very good.
