The house is very out of the way, quite hard to find among the windy roads and the road leading to it from the main road is bumpy. but this place is so worth it, set amongst vineyards in the South of France, the house sleeps 12 but is big enough for many more, an outside swimming pool, fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms, conservatory and large Sitting room as well as outdoor bbq area and large barn area. Stayed here for a week in the summer and had a fantastic time, the swimming pool is a good break from the sun and the house serves as a great base for exploring the countryside around it, 1hr from Bordeaux (approx) and about 30 mins from Bergerac there are absolutely loads of places to visit in the area. The kitchen in the house is massive, open plan to the sitting room so you can entertain in style (in winter, in summer you have got to sit outside!) and plenty of room for a few people to help with the cooking. Youll need it as the house sleeps 12, and theres plenty of room for more if you want a couch or floor space. The house is fully equipped, and all they ask is you leave it stocked like you find it, the shelves are full of books which people have left over the years, your encouraged to take one and leave one and the cupboards have all the essentials. The guest book is full of comments going back 20 years, so the past has seen many happy families and groups of friends rent it out I would recommend this for somewhere to stay if you have the money, perfect for a large family, or a group of friends to spread the cost.
