Making a reservation online was easy! Loved the elevated ambience here…read more Bread service was good and I really enjoyed my Spaghettoni Aglio, Olio e Peperincino con Granchio! Description: Spaghettoni, tossed on the pan with fresh Kilmore Quay Crab, garlic, extra virgin olive oil, a touch of fresh chilli, served with a prawn bisque It was rich and delicious! I enjoyed the soup of the day as well which was a carrot and ginger soup. Service could have been more attentive but overall good experience!

Absolutely delicious lunch with excellent, charming service!…read more When they bring out bread and butter at the beginning, be sure to ask for some olive oil as well -- it's their own brand, and delicious. If I thought I had room in my suitcase I would've bought some to take home with me! Started with the tomato soup, and then had the burrata with eggplant and prosciutto (this is also an appetizer, but I wanted to save room for dessert!). All fresh, with the most delicious dressing on the salad. Others in my party got the (homemade) pasta and raved about it. Did I mention dessert? Holy smokes, they were delicious -- and made on site. Tiramisu... baked pear... Torta al Cioccolato con Caramello Salato... gelato... You're going to want to return numerous times to enjoy all these! Definitely keeping this restaurant on my "to return to" when I go back to Ireland. A real treat!

We should have got an inkling that we weren't in for the most awe-inspiring of dining experiences when we observed a number of tiny flies sealed under the menus that had been stuck to the inside of the windows (way to advertise, by the way). Undeterred, my dining companion and I decided to plough on and eat there anyway. I have to say that my meal was perfectly alright: penne pasta with bacon and in a tomato sauce, or something along those lines. It would be absolutely fair to say that the pasta was overcooked, but I, like a lot of Irish people, am more familiar with "the living shite boiled out of it" pasta of my childhood, rather than the "al dente" pasta of proper Italian cuisine, so that didn't bother me. The meal was quite tasty. The person I was eating with, however, was thoroughly unimpressed with her salad; apparently, it was made with canned olives rather than fresh ones (the way to tell this, according to her, is to check the holes that the pit came out of. If the holes on all of the olives is too regular, they have come from a can). I don't actually like olives, canned or otherwise, so this piece of information is unlikely to affect me, but then again, it's good to know. And whatever about the joys of overcooked pasta versus the more conventional al dente option, I most definitely am not fond of overcooked vegtables. And the order of mixed vegtables (actually just carrots and broccoli) that both of us ordered was woefully overcooked. In other news, the service was quite good and the prices were reasonable. But the food was pretty shit.

I don't remember the exact price but it was a good deal. We made the mistake of ordering two sparkling water's which cost almost as much as a dinner. Please be careful and don't make that same mistake. I had a stuffed mushroom's appetizer and chicken saltimbocca. I really loved the saltimbocca. Our waitress had blonde hair and she wasn't that friendly.

It didn't help that all the businesses around here close after lunch hours and then reopen for dinner! So, we saw the words pizza and decided to give this place a go. Atmosphere: Typical pizza joint. Ordering counter with tables to sit at. Good amount of windows with natural light. Fairly clean for a pizza place. Service: We were greeted very pleasantly and our order taken quickly. We ordered from the counter and then were told we could sit to wait. While we were waiting, the gentleman who took our order came over with out drinks and a vase of bendy straws and napkins. I personally was delighted by this because who doesn't love a bendy straw? Our pizza came out in 10 minutes or less. Granted it wasn't incredibly busy, but we were very happy because we were so hungry. The pizza was even delivered to our table. Presentation wise the pizza looked great! When we left we were also thanked profusely. Not too often that that happens! Food: Both my boyfriend and I got 9" cheese pizzas (personal pan size or 6 small slices). They were pretty darn good. Much better than we were expecting. The crust was delicious - crispy but not over done and still doughy enough to have that Italian bread flavor. The sauce and cheese were good as well. I also appreciated that the pizza wasn't greasy. If anything I would say there could've been more sauce, but that's because I like more sauce then most people. It came out nice and hot too which was great because it was freezing outside! I can only speak for the pizza but I feel I should mention that interestingly, this place also offers American fair such as burgers, wraps, fried chicken, fish, etc. and kebabs of all sorts. Different combination of food offerings than we are used to, but all the more power to ya! Cost: Totally reasonable. Our pizzas were 6 euros each and we had sodas too which were 1.5 euros each. Everything else on the menu is pretty cheap as well. We both ate for under 20 euros which is a bonus in my book! I would say give this place a try, absolutely. Well worth it.
