We stayed on the Island of Holbox for seven days and made efforts to try a new spot for all meals. We might come back here though. There are a couple seats facing the main square and probably 12 seats inside. Typical on the island, the service is extremely laid back. There was one waiter running his bum off, taking orders, delivering food, etc. Our Spanish is beginner level but he understood some English as well and took our order in an IPad type of device. We ordered two tortillas (fluffy frittata with potatoes), a side of refried beans and coffee. He also gave us a little cart of pico de gallo, habernero oil and a thousand island type sauce. Everything was so delicious and inspirational. So far, the best breakfast for the value we've had on the island. read more
