The restaurant is tucked inside the plaza just past the supermarket. It is unassuming, but do not let that fool you. The food was excellent and I came multiple times during the five day stay. I had a torta Tijuana, torta de carne asada and the enchiladas. Both of the tortas were delicious, but the Tijuana version had the ham inside with Monterrey jack cheese that took it over the top. Highly recommend. The enchiladas were good, but I would just stick with the tortas as that is their bread and butter. As mentioned before, its a no frills type of place but the waitress was very friendly. House red salsa was also very good but spicy. Food came hot and quick. Prices were good for a restaurant this close to the border. Another good find just minutes from the line!

We walked in and realized we couldn't read the menu .. an employee walked up to us, realized we didn't speak Spanish and got someone to help us. The chips and dip were filling and so fresh and tasty. The sandwiches were both thick and hearty. They saved the best for last, the mint chocolate ice cream sandwich was phenomenal, nothing like I ever tasted before. The food is spectacular, the ambiance is warm and well furnished but the best part was the staff! Everyone is so friendly. We are definitely stopping by again before we leave to go home.
