Didn't have time to take a picture bc i was so hungry and on the go. I have been wanting to come here as a friend told me they do pretty good tortas. I ordered combo and got the Milanesa torta with fries and agua de Jamaica. They were able to make it dairy free (lactose intolerant here) and it was still tasty! That chipotle mayo sauce was good! Good kick as well. The fries.... Oh the fries were good! Had that good crisp to them. Definitely coming back to try some of their other torta that sounded really good.
Tried this place for the first time and was pleased with the experience. Very clean place, friendly staff and prompt service. They serve traditional Tortas along with sown versions already with a bit of flare. Had the Chilanga Torta. Full of meat and plenty of flavors - will definitely go back and order another one of their specialty Tortas. If you're looking for a good meal, this is the place.
LASTIMA de lugar el ano pasado las torras estaban deliciosas y este ano ya van dos veces que ordeno tortas PARA MI FAMILIA , compro hasta 10 tortas y pasa lo siguienteÑ llego a casa y llegan sin papas, las tortas están secas y nada de verdura cuando las ordene hace dos semanas , pensé que fue un accidente que se les olvidaran las papas y que las Torá tas estaban secas, pero esta semana horribles ,,, no volveré por que no ponen las papas , están secas nada de mayonesa , verdura medio tomate casi transparente y unas pizcas de lechuga es una horroridad de torta ni a un indigente le daria esa torta. terminamos componiendolas en casa NO VOLVEMOS muchas gracias les dimos DOS OPORTUNIDADES.
I'd say this place is definitely average. Stopped by here for indoor dining. They have plenty of seating and it's nice they make the food infront of you. The bread is nicely toasted. The rest is pretty much bland. Disappointed I only had avocado on one side. The price point is a little higher then other nearby places but it's decent. The side of fries is very little but enough for a meal. The horchata was actually pretty good though. I'd recommend to stop by for personal experience and input.
Great place to eat. The food is delicious and very inexpensive. I have spicy chilaquiles and my daughter had a jamón and queso torta. La torta plaza is one the restaurants I enjoy visiting. Quick and friendly service. I've visited la torta plaza a handful of times and they have never disappointed.
****Please READ!!!! **** the cashier will take extra money from you! When you ask for a combo please have them read the charges to you line by line! My combo should of been $156 peso which includes fries and a 20oz drink. She charged me $18 peso for cheese and $30 peso for fries and $39 peso for a 32oz drink. I order four combos and the total was $1116 peso!!!! For 4 combo at $156 per it should of only been $624 peso! When I asked the server; he said you wanted to add extras! I Said all I said was I wanted a combo and then said something like super fast and I just said huh? Then she pointed at the total and asked for payment. As I was sitting upstairs I notice every guess was walking up with 32oz drinks and then I realized this is how management/owners train there workers to hustle!!! Pretty bad on there part. Karma is real please enjoy that hustle of yours. As for anyone wanting to dine here please check your order before giving payment. The food was good but I had a salty taste from the start due to the cashier.

Best tortas ever!!!!! Also cheap! Awesome place to kind of wind down and enjoy some nice hip hop Spanish rock. Always stop here for a quick bite.
This is the most well-known torta chain in Tijuana that happens to be very consistent and a good value. This one is in the plaza rio shopping mall. I have tried another location in the Las Brisas area and it was exactly the same quality. Most seem to be located in shopping malls also known as un centro comercial. The menu is pretty diverse as there is something for everyone. You can order other items but they are known for their tortas. In case you have never had one, these are basically a sandwich of whatever you want inside(off the menu)on a telera roll. The telera is a soft, oval- shaped bread split in two, then thrown on the flat top for warming and slight toasting. Then it is loaded up with the ingredients, including guacamole typically. These also come with fries and drink as a combo. This is a lot of food. The drink choices are sodas and different aguas frescas made well, not overly sweet. We have been to this location twice with no issues and left pretty happy. I recommend this place if you are shopping in plaza rio mall and looking for a good sized, satisfying meal for under $10 US dollars. read more
First visit on a weekday for lunch. It was busy, but there was no line. I ordered at the counter, paid, and my food was brought to my table quickly. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. The bread is freshly made, and the aguas frescas are refreshing (two flavors: jamaica and horchata). The menu has several torta options, and the combo includes fries and a regular-size agua fresca or soda. Restrooms are available for customers, and the dining area is clean with friendly staff. Located in a shopping center with paid parking. Next time I'll try the desserts! I recommend sharing the portions are big. Overall solid casual spot for a quick, tasty torta lunch. read more

I absolutely come here every time I'm in Tijuana. I love all their Tortas and the horchata. Last time I ordered the fajitas de pollo and they're tender compared to the carne asada. Came with tortillas, soup, salad, and drink. I recommend this if you want something heavier than a usual torta. The pickled carrots are on point and there's free wifi. Super great environment with great music. read more
