We were lucky enough to stumble upon this delicious Mexican food truck for lunch today. I ordered the taco plate, which comes with handmade corn tortillas and your choice of meat, side of beans and chips. I decided to try the carne asada, al pastor, and pollo, to which I added their green salsa. Each of the meats were seasoned to yummy perfection, and the green salsa was literally the perfect amount of spice to add & it combined so well with all the flavors. My husband ordered the carne asada burrito and he ate it so fast that it was all the confirmation I needed to understand he thoroughly enjoyed it. He used the red salsa, which we were told is the noticeably spicier of the two. He also confirmed this, and asked me to add that it may even give you a case of the sniffles but it was worth it!

I thought I'd give this truck a try. I got the Machetito with carne asada. It was disgusting. Can't believe I paid $16 for this crap. It's a disappointment. The tortilla is so tough to chew and bite into. The meat is bland and it's filled with sour cream. I thought I could eat this on my way to work but I had to toss it. Not to mention, service was eh. I'm not here to complain about service but really here because of the food review. This is sad.

This food truck stops by our apartment once in a while and I have to stay it's one of the best Cali burritos I've had in SoCal. Finding them can sometimes be challenging but it's worth the hassle. We had the Cali burrito and a churro to finish the meal. Highly recommend! read more

I definitely recommend La Tiznada taco truck to all of you my fellow Yelpers. They catered to our community event & I definitely was satisfied with their food. The vibe was positive, their food was great & their menu selection was pretty awesome too. Flautas, al pastor bites, taco plates, burritos, to mention a few of their items on the menu, etc. I particularly had the chicken taco plate - the tacos were delicious :) I also had their stuffed churros & they too were delicious & addicting. Good customer service! The food is a bit pricy. Some orders are massive and others are surprisingly small for the price but that's ok. The taco trio was fairly good but the Cali burrito... wow that was probably the best I've ever had. (I got the orange cheese sauce on the side, thankfully because it was actually kinda gross). Everything else was delishhhhh. Especially with an addition of green or spicy salsaaa mmmm. Will be back! read more

Avoid. The signage for the Machetito made it look like a great, large taco. In reality it's an overly greasy, not tasty quesadilla. I ordered the carne version and the beef tasted like thin strips of frozen beef. We had been excited to try it due to the signage but I would strongly advise against spending $18 for a gross quesadilla. read more

The machetito is amazing. The tortilla is corn and does not fall apart. I had to ask them to cut it in half as it hung off the sides of the plate. A little pricy at $15+tax but great cost value in my opinion for how much food you get! read more

Hoooooooo doggy! Like rice? How about tortilla?! You are in luck these are the only two things you will find in your meat cheese and bean burrito. Just had this truck at the Anaheim convention center and I can honestly say this was next level disappointment. There was no organization when it came to the pickup line, it took an hour to get the food after it was ordered, and I am feeling slightly nauseous as I write this. If mediocre food, bad service, and a stomach ache sound like your definition of a good time then I could not recommend them more! Oh and did I mention you get all this pleasure for a measly $14. Steak and lobster tail: 9/10. Amazing. Steak is tender. Lobster is perfectly buttery and cooked. Flavor is fantastic. Everything was delicious except the rice, which was very mediocre, but that's probably because I prefer jasmine rice. Churros: 5/10. Not a huge churro fan and this didn't change my mind. Didn't care for it. Tres leches: 6/10. A little lacking in flavor. Overall, there are some very mediocre dishes and some excellent dishes, but I don't think the prices justify any of it. Weekends are insanely busy. Be ready with reservations. Weekday lunches are easier to walk in. It feels pretty casual since it's at Irvine Spectrum and I usually sit outside in the patio area. But it's overall a nice ambience. It's darker inside. As usual with Irvine Spectrum, parking is free but hard to find since it's so busy.

I came on a Wednesday after work; I (and presumably others) was getting food on the way from work to eat at home. Otherwise if you want to eat here, your car is the ambiance and dining area. I got a burrito and some consomme, plus a quesadilla for the next day. The burrito was *packed* with beef and tasted super pleasantly meaty. I think I counted like six beans total and a bite of rice otherwise, pleasantly surprised by the filling ratios. Salsas were tasty and pleasantly spicy, consommé was flavorful and just oily enough. If you take something home I highly recommend crisping it up in a pan before inhaling. I was in and out in about 15 minutes with no line. Two huge freshly made items plus a medium consommé (which is about the size of a medium soft drink) was about $30. When it gets busy you'd probably be better off calling in an order and picking it up. I'm looking forward to the quesadilla for dinner later on, and I'll definitely be back.

I couldn't taste any pistachio, even with some crumbles on top, and the raspberry was minimal. It was oddly sliced horizontally in half. Based on other reviews, come for the matcha drinks otherwise it's a pass.

The quality is on another level and clearly stands out from most places around here. The Mango Matcha (seasonal) was absolutely insane. If you're reading this review you need to try it. The Matcha with Cream Top was also incredible. The first sip was so thick and creamy that I barely got any matcha which is honestly a good sign. They stick to a more traditional approach and don't add sweetener unless you ask for it. Lastly, the pourovers. Some people might question the price, but take a minute to smell the different beans at the counter. You'll quickly realize that not every bean smells like coffee. The tasting notes actually come through and you can tell a lot of care goes into every pour over they make. Most drinks, aside from the pour-overs, are around $4.50 to $7, which is a far greater value for what you're getting in sheer quality. There are way too many cafes these days that focus on aesthetics and end up sacrificing quality. This place feels like it's run by people who genuinely love coffee and it shows in every order. Last note: they have their system down to a tee. The wait in line may be long but once you order it's super quick to receive your order.

There were strawberry slices on top with a few mochi pieces, and a little condensed milk drizzle on top. The middle and bottom layers were just crunchy ice. This was also gravely disappointing. Parking on weekend evenings look to be challenging as it was for me.

Just tried this food truck 2 weeks ago at Huntington Beach. I ordered the Machetito, which was a lot bigger than I had even expected. It was sorta like a glorified quesadilla that hung off the plate. It was really tasty, and the salsas they provided complimented the food well. Service was also pretty good considering they were pretty rushed with all the people ordering. The food was definitely on the pricier side, so definitely come prepared to spend more than $8 for anything on the menu. I do understand though since from previous experience, it costs a lot of money to run a food truck. They are following COVID-19 guidelines, although they didn't have any signage up about it. I suggested it to them while ordering and they said they are planning to add some signs in the following days, which is good to hear. If you don't know, now you know! I stumbled upon them at Lucé and boy, was I glad I opted to give them a try. I had the Pork Belly Bites (a must) and by far better than most restaurants.
