One of the spots that Bourdain visited although I didn't have much time decided to give them a try…read more I got there right when they opened (12:30) and lunch doesn't really start til later out here so had the whole place to myself. Smaller, cozy full of character Bar area and the whole place is filled with bottles. 5 tables outside but for me inside was much more interesting. I ordered a Verdejo and my Server brought out a complimentary tomato Tapa and Salami. Tomatoes were super fresh and slightly salted-delicious! Everything on the menu looked good! I ordered the Sturgeon, Foie Gras and White Sausage. The Sturgeon was exquisite with the tomatoes and peppers pairing perfectly! Should have taken the big order. Foie Gras and white sausage (mild) were simple, tasty and didn't disappoint. My Server was friendly and worked to bring out the dishes as they were ready given my time crunch. About an 8 minute walk from the city center and well worth it. Make the stop for some high quality/reasonably priced Tapas and Wine in a unique space.

It gets crowded and loud soon after they open at 8:30 for dinner after closing for a few hours post lunch. No English menus but that's ok. Come in, open up your Translator and make friends with the servers behind the Bar. It will be so worth it. I started with a Verdejo and first Tapa was the Torezznos de Soria (Fried Pork Belly). Had this as an appetizer back home and this version is so much better-salty, crunch outside, tender inside-beyond delicious! Next was the Carilladda de Cerdo (Pork Cheeks) had the taste/texture of Short Rib-super tender and tasty. Solomillo à la Poniente-tenderloin with creamy sauce taking it over the top. Pinchito de Cordero (grilled lamb cubes) so tender and without the gamey. Pulpo Frito (fried octopus)-first time having it and enjoyed it. De Buey (their mini burger)-cooked medium rare and leaves you wanting a few more. 2nd visit-Busanos (snails-not escargot), -Ostras (Oysters), -Flamenquin Cordobes (deep fried ham/cheese in a roll-delicious), -Lomo en Manteca (pork loin in lard mini sandwich), -Pinchito de longanizo (sausage skewer) a little spicy, nice snap and salty, -Sombretito de Cabra (fried goat cheese with honey) on the bottom, slice of eggplant and tomato, -Sardines ahumadas (smoked sardines) with tomato on bottom-salty oily-delicious, -Cazuelita de christorra de Arbizu-salty sausage pieces pair nicely with Bravas. Friendly servers behind the Bar. Melen took great care of me-A Local's favorite where you plan on spending a short time or a few hours and trying out a few of their delicacies paired with your beverages of choice. When in Malaga, a must stop!

My only complaint is that there was a single bathroom that open directly into the dining area and the door lock was broken.

Solid find. Some of the best tapas we've had between here and Madrid. Truly special. As gourmet as…read morethese tapas are, my heart was taken prisoner by their hamburguesa tapas. Two simple sliders that hit all the right notes. Simply brilliant. The rest - tuna tataki, grilled octopus, and fish tacos (amazingly made from cod baccalao) were all top notch. The owner, Anita, was so friendly and invited us to sit wherever we preferred. My husband, sister and I chose a table in the back room next to the fireplace since it was a chilly night in January. We were dehydrated from drinking wine all day during our wine tour in Ronda so we immediately ordered several bottles of water and soda to accompany our wine. I was dreading the bill after ordering so many beverages, but prices were very reasonable and this was one of our cheapest meals in Marbella! The menu at Arco Tapas Bar consists of a variety of hot and cold tapas and small plates. The Iberian ham, fresh buffalo mozzarella, sliders, and goat cheese salad were some of our favorite dishes. We later found out that Anita's husband is the chef. Anita's husband is from Italy so you will notice some Italian influences on the menu. This was the perfect spot to relax with friends and enjoy some great wine and tapas. Would highly recommend this spot. Unfortunately, they are not open for lunch or we would have returned the next day!
