Overall, the customer service was good. The restaurant appears to be a shared space with a few other vendors, so there are three different menus to choose from, which gives you plenty of options. I ordered the chicken taquitos. The shell was nice and crispy, with chicken stuffed inside. The chicken flavor was good, but I do wish it had been seasoned a bit more. My biggest complaint was that the taquitos weren't served with any type of dipping sauce. Without a sauce, they were a little dry. A salsa, queso, or crema would have complemented them well and made the dish much more enjoyable. Overall, they're your standard fried chicken taquitos. They're worth trying, but adding a dipping sauce would definitely elevate the experience. read more

Very small place, but they have great food. The quesadillas are amazing. Birria tacos were great. Not great for large groups, but excellent for a few people or pick up. read more

Hidden gem! Great tacos and quesadillas! Been a few times and it's never missed. Highly recommend!

I just tried La Taqueria in Springfield, VA, and was hoping for an amazing time but it was a mixed experience From the moment I walked in, I wasn't greeted with warm smiles even though it had a vibrant atmosphere with some great seating areas upstairs and outside The menu is pretty solid and I ended up getting 2 Taco: a Grilled Chicken Taco and a Taco De Carnitas (braised pork). The quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite and the side was very good but sadly it was a little too oily to the point it was dripping all over my tray The service at La Taqueria as I said before was ok. The staff seemed nice but didnt get a warm greeting and just to order was kind of hard as the person taking the order disappeared and finally the food took pretty long to get to my table. The ambiance of the restaurant was lively and inviting (mainly the upstairs), with vibrant decorations, the bar, and the vibes made me want to stay for a while La Taqueria has earned its spot in the area but I think they have a few things to work out before they are go to place. read more

Tried take out via Uber eats. I ordered the carne Asada fries and a steak burrito. Overall I felt the flavors were tasty but a bit too much cheese sauce was on the fries. And don't get me wrong I love cheese!! But maybe some on the side would have created a better presentation and also still leave the fries crispy. There is a ton a food btw! Have plenty of leftovers and probably another two meals! I'd try some other things too next time! read more

Ordered tacos and they were good, but I'd never go back because the experience was not great. First, they serve alcohol but don't offer free water? They said we could only buy bottled water. And then our bill included a mandatory 20% tip even though we were a party of 3. Just weird. read more

Parking lot available and it's 3 different restaurants here. Small two top high tables available for dining in and I think some outdoor seating. I suppose most puerile get it to go. The staff was super friendly and we ordered Street Corn, The Big "Juan", and Beef Birria Quesadilla. The Street Corns were good but something was missing in terms of flavor. The entrees were massive! Great flavors and would definitely order from here if you're hungry and sharing with people. They do serve bottled beer and water here but no water station to just get a water cup. Overall a good place and delicious food. read more

Came across this business on IG @lataqueriadc and finally got the chance to check them out. Located on Fullerton Road in the industrial park between Costco and Enterprise. It's part of a restaurant group and at the location is two other businesses, serving burgers and gourmet pizza. Tried the tacos at La Taqueria. Got carne asada, al pastor, and birria tacos. The carne asada and al pastor tacos were well loaded. Wish the al pastor had a little more pineapple. The birria tacos is a must try and became my favorite one in the area! Have to try the super quesadillas next time I come here. The staff was super friendly. There are small bar tables inside with AC and (parking lot) picnic tables available outside, as well. read more

We ordered through DoorDash tonight. I was expecting the food to take about 45 minutes to an hour, but to our pleasant surprise it was here in around 30 minutes. I switched it up a bit this time and ordered the arroz con pollo. The chicken is perfectly grilled and seasoned. The rice has really good flavor and was covered with the queso sauce (deliciousness). The birria quesadilla never lets us down and neither does the fried chicken taco. I don't know what kind of sauce is on it, but I could order that by itself as a drink read more

Never received an order & when I called they said they couldn't find my order. .

This is a hidden gem! First of all the staff is very friendly and attentive. On Tuesdays there's a car rally so they get busy but their attitudes and customer service does not change. They have Mexican good, pizza, and burgers .. 3 different menus to choose from. It's an excellent idea for groups, everyone can find something to their liking. They serve alcohol from hard seltzer to wines, cocktails and tequila. The food quality is great, it's quality ingredients. The seasoning is on the lighter side. My Birria tacos barely had any meat so that's the down fall especially for it being $4 each it wasn't filled or worth the bang for your buck. But all in all it was a good experience. Nice vibe, excellent customer service. The food is made to order so it does take a while to get your food, be patient and order yourself a nice drink to get started! read more

Nope, don't go here. There are plenty of other spots that have great tacos but this place is not it. First of all, the nassssssstiest bathrooms I've ever been in. Disgusssting! Second of all, I agree with other reviews.. the food takes forever to come out. We called and placed our order over the phone and were told it'll take around 20 minutes. We show up 20 minutes later and still had to wait another 20 minutes before we got out food. I was still optimistic because they were busy so I assumed that it was going to be good. Once we got home and opened everything, all of our tacos were ice cold. I took one bite and threw the rest away. Save your money! Go somewhere else! read more

I wanted to support this place, but waiting 30-35 minutes for 6 tacos has easily made up my mind to not return the next time I'm in the mood for tacos. This is a 3 in one storefront, for they also function as a burger joint & an Italian food place. It seemed like they were short on staff and had a bunch of takeout orders to take care of. When I did receive the tacos, they didn't stand out. I ordered all different types, but they all tasted bland. For 6 tacos, they really skimped out on the sauces on the side. I requested both the spicy and mild sauces, but they were only filled halfway in the sauce container. It was a very regretful & lackluster experience. read more

Truly delicious food , very affordable definitely coming back with friends and family read more

Food took over 20 mins to come out and barely anyone was inside. The meat was dry on both meals we had (birria tacos and chicken taquitos). The flavor was nothing special and honestly pretty bland. Even the street corn that we expected to be a flavor bomb was mediocre at best. And for food like that, the price was pretty steep. The outdoor seating area was nice, but the inside restaurant decor (fake vines on the walls, etc) didn't really match any of the 3 restaurants here. read more

The food is very hit or miss. I went and got the chimichangas one day and the chicken smelled a little strange (maybe a bad day) Everything else was great. Big portion. I work nearby, so I returned and got the chimichanga again, the chicken still smelled strange again, the beans this time look and taste old(very disappointing). I came both times on a Monday, not sure if it's leftovers from the weekend. Yesterday I ordered 2 Birria tacos with a side. A lot of the beef fat was placed in both tacos, not edible and tortillas taste burnt. The cost was pretty high $17 for a lunch meal for it to be a waste. Very discouraging (2 tacos and street corn). Also, the consume for the Birria tacos was in a small container and was not even filled to the top, just half the container which could only be used for barely one taco to dip. I will not be returning. read more

So it may have been that I ordered on the Cinco of Mayo, but I waited over 2 hours to get 2 burritos. I waited that long since it had good reviews. I was pretty disappointed. Everything was bland, pretty much white people Mexican food. The people are nice and have a lot of patience especially with jerks who complain their food isn't coming out fast enough. I commend the manager for trying to please everyone during a huge rush, i assuming they are probably not used to such a high volume of orders. Would I come here again, probably not. At least they have frozen margaritas to go lol read more

I literally just stopped at this place by luck because I was craving a birria quesadilla and wanted to see what was closest to me in that moment. This is the largest quesadilla I've ever had, but I suppose for $14, it would only make sense. Ordered it for takeout but ended up sitting down for a bit to eat due to not being able to resist the delicious smell wafting from the box. This quesadilla was about the same size as a 12 inch pizza, maybe even bigger, who knows. All I can say is that this is probably one of THE best birria quesadillas I've had. It wasn't overly greasy the way some of them are, and the cheese to meat ratio was near perfect. The consommé that they serve on the side with it also tasted heavenly. I'm excited to come back to this place when I get the chance to try some of their other dishes. read more

Phenomenal. The amount of food you get for the price is insane. We always order the arroz con pollo, asada fries, and the birria quesadilla. We truly have leftovers for the entire weekend with this order! The asada fries are absolutely amazing & the ACP is HUGE. The quesadilla is so big that it comes in a pizza box! We most recently tried the street corn and the queso which were both great as well. You can eat inside here but I'd recommend ordering takeout as it's pretty small on the inside with a lot going on since it's a popular spot. But if you order takeout, you can also get cocktails like margaritas in to go bags with straws! So fun! We love this spot!!! read more

We stopped my on Memorial Day for lunch after struggling to find a place to eat. I am so happy for the accident! The tacos were so good. We had the chicken, veggie, carne asada, and carnitas. We also ordered chips and salsa and fries. It was so much food and we could have been more than stuffed without the extra fries. The salsa was fresh and with great flavor, the tacos were huge, filling, and delicious, and the fries were crispy. We sat outside at the tables (umbrellas came in clutch when it started to rain) and the time went by quickly as we munched on chips. Everything is made fresh, so we were content to be patient. We could not believe how much we got for the price and cannot wait to come back. read more

This taco shop is actually not a taco shop. It's one locations and the kitchen puts out tacos, pizza and burgers. Interesting concept. This place is just ok. It's not bad by any means but didn't scratch my authentic taco itch. The birria was rather tasteless and could have used some salt. Tasted more like a grilled cheese taco honestly. The al pastor was very fatty and again lacked any kind of flavor, even when doused with lime and hot sauce. The chicken and the scene asada were the best of the options in my opinion because those are pretty plain to begin with so it wasn't too disappointing that they weren't amazing. The restaurant is clean, employees friendly and there is a nice outside patio with lots of parking. read more

Service-3 Food-2 Value-3 Was driving by and saw a sign for tacos. We decided to stop in to try a couple. Interesting concept with 3 eateries in one. Service was fast and friendly. The order however took a long time, around 15mins or so for only 4 tacos. Birra taco was a complete let down. Was baffled the exterior had zero color from being crisped on the flat top but was a lil crispy. The bad part was when you grabbed the taco all this oil stared to drip out from the tortilla. Was like a half crispy sponge filled with oil. The temp they used was too low which caused the tortilla to adsorb copious amounts of oil. The birria meat was bland n boring like most places I've tried. Along with lacking on the cheese. The consume tasted like warm bland water. I've had enough birra to confidently say that most places do not make it properly. 9/10 times the meat is bland and the exterior is not crisped correctly. Lately, the lack of cheese to starting to become a common theme as well. The fish taco was so so. The mahi mahi was cooked correctly but had zero flavor, bland as can be. The side of salsa tasted like it came out of a can. Neither liked it nor disliked it. Overall, the experience was bland like the taco's. I would not recommend this place to taco lovers. read more

Ordered for delivery today and it was amazing! My 2 year old has been picky recently but loved the beef birria quesadillas. As soon as I opened the box he went in. I really liked the chips and queso and my daughter enjoyed the kids quesadilla and rice. My husband and I both thought we received a lot of food but that it was lacking flavor. I wanted to like it more and maybe will try in the future but over all we were not wowed. read more
